A New York man has pleaded guilty to a series of racist assaults allegedly meant to protest the election of President Barack Obama, authorities say.
"Brian Carranza pled guilty this morning ... to conspiring to assault African-American residents in Staten Island, New York, in retaliation for President Barack Obama's election victory," the prosecutor's office for the eastern district of New York said on Monday.
Carranza is charged with hate crimes along with two others over a series of incidents on election day. He faces a maximum sentence of 10 years, although entering a guilty plea in court usually leads to lighter punishment.

I think the black voters who just voted for The Messiah because he’s black are guilty of a hate crime against white American Citizens, myself.
Last week I saw that in Seattle they arrested a guy on hate crime charges for calling a woman a lesbian. There was no physical violence at all... purely verbal as far as I could tell.
At this rate we can all be jailed soon for merely calling someone names. Scary indeed.
Do you have a link? Thanks
I read it in a newspaper while sitting in the airport... I think it was the Seattle PI.
Just did a search and found a link for it: http://blog.seattlepi.nwsource.com/seattle911/archives/159652.asp
Do you actually know any black people?
What's your point?
In fact, the answer to that is yes, but then, my point is that voting for a black person simply because his skin is the right color is, IMHO, racist and an assault on white voters, i.e., a "hate crime". So far, freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and freedom of association/expression are all now being made illegal (the thought police are on us, in that if it's offensive to some protected class, you can be prosecuted).
Heaven help someone who tells a joke that's overheard, in today's socialist environment.
Who is this ass Carranza?
