Last week, Rush Limbaugh gave us a preview of the outrageous Republican attacks that are on the way against President Obama and every Democrat working for change. Rush actually said that he 'hopes' President Obama fails to meet America's challenges.
Listen to Rush in his own words, saying "I hope he fails."
Limbaugh's cheap shot at President Obama might be the first by the Republican attack machine this year but we know that it won't be the last.
We need every grassroots Democrat to show Rush Limbaugh and all of the Republicans what they're up against if they start attacking President Obama and Democrats who are working to end the failed GOP policies of the last eight years.
Tell Rush what you think of his attacks on President Obama. We'll send him your comments.
Jobs, health care, our place in the world — the stakes for our nation are high and every American needs President Obama to succeed. Your so-caled “quotes” from Rush are totally inaccurate. Rush said he wants Obama’s (socialist) POLICIES to fail. Rush’s radio show is NOT on some secret underground channel. If you scan the radio dial at any time between Noon and 3:00 P.M. EST you will find his show on numerous frequencies. Listen for yourself; don’t listen to Commie Lib liars on the drive-by news networks, and lay off the Kool Aid!
I haven't listened to every word Rush has said on the subject, but I'd be willing to bet you money that he never said any such thing. He said that he hopes Obama fails to implement his own agenda. This dipstick writer might think that Obama's agenda and the meeting of America's challenges are one and the same, but as far as any rational person is concerned, they're most definitely not.

I went to the website and put in my two cent’s worth. That is, I correctly identified the left as the new American fascists and gave my support for Rush. My suggestion is to give the Democrats the old Alinsky treatment and flood their little survey with what we think, and then flood our local papers and radio stations with commentary about the way the Democrats want to kill free speech and stifle dissent. This would be a good place to use Hillary Clinton’s own words about dissent being patriotic. In your comments about the Democrats, remember to accuse them of being intolerant, bigoted, and possibly racist, in the spirit of Alinsky’s suggestion to always use the values of the enemy against them.
And, above all, have fun teasing these poor ideological slobs. Remember what Alinsky taught us: there is no defense against ridicule.

Well congressional democrats...I agree with Rush. I want to see President Obama fail as well. If his “success” means increased socialism, the rule of ghetto voters through ACORN, entrenchment of liberal democrats, the increase of the slaughter of the unborn, the homosexual agenda moving forward, the scary messiah worship of a mere man...yes I want his presidency to fail.
If he would repent of his ways, and show the fruits of repentance, then I would be for President Obama’s success, but only then. The consequences of him suceeding is too scary to handle.
But for any rational-minded readers who are not familiar with this story, what Rush said was that he respected the office of the President but hoped any Obama plans for higher taxes, higher spending, etc. would fail. But *if* Obama actually followed thru with some of the his rhetoric on the campaign trail, where he advocated those programs or policies which were not anathema to conservatives, then Rush wished hm the best.
Per usual, the mendacious liberals purposely skew what Rush actually stated in order to 'villainize' him.

The Democrats have been openly hoping for President Bush to fail for the past eight years. They were openly hoping for American defeat in Iraq. They cannot be serious about this — so dissent is no longer patriotic if one criticizes the Messiah?

It's been going on under people's complacent noses for YEARS.
We already know what all of the tactics that B.O. and his operatives are using against -THE MIDDLE CLASS in general - and Rush Limbaugh in particular, because Saul Alinsky listed them in his books and B.O. taught them to other radicals in Chicago.

..Alinsky's radicals found a perfect vehicle for their destruction of the American system and more particularly for taking and maintaining power. That instrument was the Democratic Party. (We all know the infamous "Tax cuts for the middle class" mantra of the Democrats.)
In Rules for Radicals, Alinsky says: “Here I propose to present an arrangement of certain facts and general concepts of change, a step toward a science of revolution.”
