God have mercy on the children.
May every bureaucrat and judge and lawmaker involved fall in the pit they have dug for such innocent children.
May every bureaucrat reap 10 fold the horrors that await those children.

I’ll not say what I’d do in such a situation but needless to say many bureaucrats worries would be over.

The last time the couple saw their grandchildren was shortly after the agreement for them to be adopted but before the decision to place them with a gay couple.
They took dozens of photographs and tried, for the sake of the youngsters, not to break down.
Excerpt fromt he article:
‘Granny, I’m not going to see you for a very long time,’ said the five-year-old boy. ‘Maybe when I’m in Primary Seven I’ll be able to see you.’
‘We’ll try our very hardest to see you soon,’ said his grandmother, choking back tears.
The boy told his grandfather: ‘Grandad, if you want to see me you will have to pick me up because I will be a very long way away.’
Then he added innocently: ‘We are getting a new mummy and daddy.’
(the children did not know they were going to a gay couple-—how criminal to rip them away from the only family they knew)

Too old? At 46, the grandmother could have been a mother herself to 5 and 4 year olds. How very sad.
To: dascallie
Good grief. 49? That is unbelievable. My sister had her last child at 45.

Reading the story I think I can guess the ‘social worker’s’ sexual orientation and/or agenda. This is sickening.

I don’t have any objection to gays adopting, though sending a little girl who has been noted to be uncomfortable with men (probably due to experiences with mommy’s boyfriends) to a gay male couple doesn’t make any sense at all. But I suspect the rejection of the grandparents as permanent caretakers may not have been just age/health-related. After all, it appears they didn’t do such a great job raising the children’s mother who, at 26 years old, is a heroin addict who’s had two children, apparently neither of them sired by men who are willing or able to parent them.

46 and 59 is old. Heaven forbid. We know this is a crock and the judge should be thrown out for imcomptence.
Does anyone remember a show of Michael Regan’s a long long time ago where there was judge and some other people that took a child from her mother because they wanted her. I think gay was involved there too. I wonder what happened in that case. It was in CA.

When the grandfather protested, he was told: 'You can either accept it, and there's a chance you'll see the children twice a year, or you can take that stance and never see them again.'HomoFascism is real..

Too old?????????
I’m 46 and my husband is 50, and (by the blessings of God!) we are chasing around two toddlers under two.
That stupid judge meant HE is too old to take on the job. It doesn’t mean everyone is.

The Gaystapo in action. Get used to the jackbooted thugs pushing their weight around more, and spreading their propaganda that homosexuality is superior to traditional, straight couples.

This is completely unlike me, so I can't believe I'm making this statement, but if I were the grandparents I'd grab the children and make a break for the U.S. and apply for political asylum. We're not nearly as bad - yet - and I think they would have a good case here.
