House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is defiantly ignoring Rush Limbaugh and Matt Drudge -- who spent much of the week nitpicking her stimulus bill on issues ranging from STD prevention funding to cash for the re-sodding the National Mall.
"I am the Speaker of the House. I don’t get into that," she said at her weekly press conference just now, when asked about their impact on the stimulus debate.

“But imagine the uproar from Conservative Americans as they wake up from their comas, if she does manage to get it to a vote.”
Please, Nancy... give it a shot. Please. I so welcome the ensuing conflict!
She and all the member of Congress need a strong reminder that they are NOT ruling class elite - they work for us!

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi vs Rush Limbaugh is like taking a taking a wet noodle to a gun fight.
But I hope she relents and tries to take him on as she will only prove what a moron she really is instead of people only guessing that she is a moron.

If the ground were soggy from recent rains, then yes, the grass would have been ruined.
