WASHINGTON (AP) Sen. John McCain, the top Republican on the Senate Armed Services Committee, is dropping his objection to the appointment of a former Raytheon lobbyist to the No. 2 job at the Pentagon.
A McCain spokeswoman confirmed Monday by e-mail that the senator will allow the nomination to proceed after having received additional information from William Lynn, who is President Barack Obama's choice for deputy defense secretary.

You see when a man has lost his integrity he makes exceptions to what was once his sense of probity. No act of Patriotism or heroics can redeem his soul as he will fail to act when God requires it of him. A tear can be seen on the cheek of Lady Liberty, simply because John McCain has become just such a man.

I've decided McCain is lazy. It's just too much work to oppose Lynn, or any other Obama nominee. It's just too much work to make a serious run for president. It's just too much work....

Well, of course he is dropping opposition. Bend over and grab the ankles, John.

McCain never met a lobbyist he didn’t like. His campaign staff was infested with them, starting with Rick Davis.

"I've decided McCain is lazy.." I've decided McCain is lazy crazy!
Let's remember that this has happened before for "conservatives" from AZ. Goldwater exhibited the same symptoms in his last years and graduated from "solid conservative" status to RINO status.
Albeit McCain was never as solid a conservative as Barry was for almost his entire life prior to his semi-dementia years.
Maybe it's something in the water......
