Though President Obama has garnered widespread support for his early actions in office, Americans strongly oppose the commander-in-chief's first two executive orders -- allowing federal funding for overseas abortions and closing Guantanamo -- according to a poll released Tuesday.
Fifty-eight of Americans said they disagreed with the president's decision to give overseas funding to family planning organizations that provide abortions, according to a Gallup poll published Tuesday.
Obama signed an order Jan. 23 reversing the "Mexico City policy" -- a prohibition first implemented by Ronald Reagan, which forbade the U.S. government from sending money to overseas family-planning organizations that perform abortions or offer abortion counseling. The ban, which once was lifted when Bill Clinton took office, was later re-established by George W. Bush in 2001.
The poll also found that more Americans -- 50 percent to 44 percent --oppose the President's decision to close the Guantanamo Bay prison for terror suspects within in a year -- a sign that the president's first two executive orders may be off mark.

Well, what the F* did this idiots think when they went to the polls in November and voted for “change”?
I changed my tagline the first day he did these EO’s.
You wanted change...you got it. It’s all you’ll have left.
GET USED TO IT, AMERICA!
YOU WANTED CHANGE, RIGHT?!
WELL, YOU GOT IT!
“Well, what the F* did this idiots think when they went to the polls in November and voted for change?”
They wanted the Obama Administration to “change” into the Clinton Administration.
Most of them had no clue what they were voting for besides
“the cool black guy”
Well, the voters got a pig in a poke, and now they’re stuck with it. Good and stuck and good enough for ‘em. Actions have consequences - and he ain’t through yet.
I’m watching Gibbs right now on FNC. This administration is clueless.
Obama has been a solid disaster the first few weeks. Just like we thought a witless ideoluque would be. To his cabinet pics, to the bloated stimulus plan all the way down to his choice of the “Beast” mega SUV limo, he has been solidly tone deaf. He’s a one termer.
So why in hell did so many American sheep vote for him? They did not think he would do this or is the reality of what he’s doing sinking in?
Our fellow Americans are idiots....easily duped by the MSM, their profs, their union bosses, and so on. They have sold out the republic....just so they could say we elected a black guy.
“Well, the voters got a pig in a poke, and now theyre stuck with it.”
The during the election cycle voters watched a sharply produced infomercial. The audience members, sychophants all. Now that they have the “product” home, some are having buyer’s remorse as the “product” isn’t what was advertised and doesn’t live up to the hype.
I hope he’s a one-termer. Still, he can do a lot of damage in one term.
They thought they were sick of bad Iraq news and bad economic news and that McCain is old and cranky.
Exactly! The people who voted for this immature, inexperienced narcissist are the same people who thought Republicans had been in control of Congress for Bush’s last years in office. They don’t even know when their own candidates are in office, and are really the ones screwing them. Wait until the terrorists released from Guantanamo attack the U.S. again. I predict a one term presidency for this moron.
If God chooses mercy, 0bama will have only one term,
and it will be in such turmoil that nothing will “get done”.
Amazing isn’t it? He said he would do exactly as he has done and people are upset. Kind of makes me think he was a hypnotist on the campaign trail.
Give him more time... he’s nominating as fast as he can...
