Obama Makes Surprise Trip to Read to Children

Updated 3:44 p.m.
By Michael D. Shear and Hamil Harris
As a sense of crisis engulfed his White House Tuesday with the withdrawal of former senator Tom Daschle as HHS Secretary-nominee, President Obama made an unannounced trip to a school to read to kids.

His motorcade was seen heading north on 15th Street, and local sources soon reported he was at The Capital City Public Charter School. There was no mention of a trip on the schedule sent out to reporters the previous day.

At the school, the president and Michelle Obama read to a group of second-graders in the school library from a picture book entitled "The Moon over Star," an account of the first moon landing in July of 1969. An Associated Press report from the scene said that Obama told the students, "We were just tired of being in the White House."

One of the comments:

From the official site:

"The school is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization "

Geez, why not goto a real public school in DC. Unless there was a favor to be fulfilled?

Charter schools are really private schools underneath it all.

what a thoughtless whine to school children about how repressive the Obamas find it to be privileged to live in “the People’s House”

Well said. When Zero is deep in the abyss of his undoing, what catastrophe will befall the nation during a reading to the children?

"My theory at this point is that the alphabet news media either have to turn on him and start doing serious reporting or prepare to file bankruptcy.

Zero does not realize that he is working with junkyard dogs. They will not learn to sit up and beg. Instead the press will try to train Zero to perform.

Soon you will hear the press calling him: "Here boy! Wanta go outside? Time for your walk!"

The press is impatient. Time is short for Zero. If he fails to perform they will be looking for raw meat.

“QUICK! Somebody LOCK the DOORS!!!”

LOL, did you know that’s how the Roman Republic got started? King Tarquin the Proud went on a trip, and when he came back to Rome, the Romans wouldn’t let him into the city.

“Fly over Kentucky and don’t land . . . we need another president to take the blame for the Weather.”

Oh, I’ve already blamed Algore for last week’s ice storm. He never fails to make a speech on global warming, during the coldest days of January and February, and usually he does it from a balmy location like Syracuse, NY. The Urban Dictionary calls it the “Gore Effect.”

Did you mean any MAN, or did you mean any STRONG, FOCUSED PERSON WITH VALUES could do it?

Of course. What you said.

Mart Bowen's family systems theory applied in case Obama, says that when the going gets tough he will bug out. Bowen was a psychiatrist who worked with very difficult cases, and over the years developed his "family systems theory". He would treat the family as a while unit, since what he found is that in many if not nearly all cases, the pathological behavior, the dynamic, is a family inheritance.

In Obama's case his Dad and Mom bugged out, and on his Mom's side there appears to be a long history across the generations of the Dad bugging out -- either by just leaving never to return, or via intoxicants.

Jumpin’ Jehosephat, don’t tell me you missed the sarcasm dripping from that. Have you ever heard of Harding? Warren G. Harding, who was mentioned along with Clinton was the quintessential symbol of presidential worthlessness until recent years.

Watched Chris Wallace reporting on his interview w/zerO yesterday. After the tape stopped rolling, he said he asked zerO what was the biggest surprise about the Presidency. The answer was that “....everything is an important decision that effects everyone.” (paraphrase)

Obviously, he had never realized that before.

He’s desperate for a story with a positive spin. So he chooses to go to a charter rather than a public school. The man and his advisors truly have no clue. So far, everything the man has done has turned to poop.

That notwithstanding the MSM revels in its collective orgasm for the man.
