President Obama is getting a lot of credit for admitting he screwed up the nomination of Tom Daschle to be Secretary of Health and Human Services. Heres what Obama told CBS News:
I made a judgment that he was the best person possible for the job. I was very eager to make sure that we can deliver on a commitment that I have to deliver healthcare for the American people. I think I messed up. I screwed up in not recognizing the perception that even though this is an honest mistake, I believe, on Toms part, that, you know, ordinary people are out there paying taxes every day and whether its an intentional mistake or not, it was sending the wrong signal. So again, this was something that was my fault. I continue to consider Tom Daschle an outstanding public servant, uh, and what were going to do now is make sure we get somebody confirmed and start moving forward.

He obviously didn’t feel the need to apologize for choosing the company of Ayers and Wright... not to mention for lying to the world.
MSM:”Oooh, Barack is so dreamy when he apologizes...”
SAVE US OBAMA! SAVE US!
The problem isn’t that he screwed up, it’s that he keeps repeating the screw-ups. The first time was a screw-up, the second and third were failures to learn from his mistakes, showing a major lack of wisdom and maturity.
Seems like that’s his standard reply when $hit happens for the O-man. Same reply when challenged about the $2M earmark to the hospital his wife worked at shortly after he was elected. And shortly after her salary nearly tripled.
Honest mistake from a dimocRAT? Yeah, in a pigs eye! These people wrote the tax laws - they hire people to do their taxes - all they have to do is provide the correct information, of which they wrote the laws about. I say B*llsh*t it was an honest mistake. Then there’s the little issue of Tommy having worked for a law firm in which he took part in some lobbying efforts to tackle a variety of issues including health care - and what post was he being considered for? Yeah, so much for Obama’s promise to not allow lobbyists work inside his administration on issues in which they took part in any lobbying over the past two years.
He should have Daschle, Geithner and Rangel apologize to Steve Martin for ripping off his line, “I Forgot.”
These so called apologies from politicians when they step in it are meaningless.
He always says he's moving forward. He just doesn't know where he's going.
It’s going to wear thin with the public. Admitting a mistake was refreshing at first, but he’s not fixing the problem. This is the most corrupt, incompetent administration in the history of these United States.
If you don't know where you're going, any road will get you there.
I think this will be a familiar refrain from BHO...
...and they don't realize, uh, that we extra-ordinary people just aren't, uh, accustomed to doing that. Because we don't, uh, have that gun to our heads.
“Sometimes you just gotta say, WTF!”
We’ll be saying that a lot for the next four years.
No you don’t, Zero. Check the Constitution.
LOL!
