A GANG of children have been caught trying to roast two puppies over an open fire. Shocked and huddled together for safety, the puppies were rescued from an act of almost unbelievable barbarity on a canal bank near Manchester in England.
A gang of youths had seized the seven-week-old brother and sister puppies and were slowly roasting them over a bonfire.
Yelping in panic and distress as their fur began to burn, the pair struggled desperately to escape the children's clutches.
The commotion attracted a walker who ran over to the bonfire and ordered the gang to release them immediately.

The fruits of a post-Christian country.
It’s hard to feel sorry for humans sometimes.
Disgusting and very disturbing.
Ass beatings for every one of them.
Cute idea for names. Guy I imagine is named for Guy Fawkes.
Something sounds off with this story.. It’s written in a histrionic manner.. If the kids were holding them and they were later found to be in good health by the Vet.. I’m wondering if they might have just been trying to warm the puppies over the fire.. But then again, Brits can be twisted so who knows.
...products of decades of feminist laws intended to save the women and children from working class fathers in general. How are those laws working?
Sometimes it’s better to just not say what I’m thinking.
This is one of them.
Glad the pups are going to be fine.
Well that's good, at least.
As for these little terrori...errr...I mean yoots, I'm not holding my breath waiting for their names to be released.
A PERFECT example of spare the rod and spoil the BRAT.
Ah, a gang of “youths.” And we all know what that term euphemizes.
Apache brain roast would be more apropos.
It does seem suspicious, given that 10% of Manchester's population is Muslim, and a dog is a filthy creature to a Muslim.
“they might have just been trying to warm the puppies over the fire..”
You must be kidding.
It’s ok. The earlier thread was posted over 12 hrs ago and we have a 4 hr rule.
This is just plain sick ( I could have understood if these youths were homeless, and had killed these puppies for food), but they didn’t and it seems they were just doing to these puppies for cruelty: SICK. But not as bad as humans killing babies through abortion/murder, or “scientific” research/embryonic/murder!!
Sweet dear puppies. Thank God for that woman. Thank God.
Same in all of URP..
When human life is disposable (abortion) it follows animal life is even more so.
Seriously? How bout lamp cord beatings?
That place is a 3rd world country.
Well, if the little rat bastards were smart they would plead they were doing Global Warming research and get a grant from NASA.
TROP? Likes fire. Likes death. Considers dogs unclean.
Ever actually been here?.
And given that America has 75% of all serial killers, and waaayy more murders than us, if we are 3rd world, what are you?. And animals never get tortured in your country?.
See, we can all play the one-upmanship game.
Sarcasm alert: the following is extreme, early morning sarcasm, designed just for the Scotsman, to make up for the national slam on his country so blithely flung about by a previous poster:
No, they don't !!! All is sweetness and light here now that we have our new leader !
The seas have stopped rising, the planet is healed, and no puppies are ever hurt !
Micheal Vick was running a puppy daycare, not a vicious dog fighting ring.
So shut up !
America is perfect !
Have you ever been there ?
Yes, I have and wish to do so again. Many times.
The West has a problem with no morality, feral people. Not just us or you, this could happen and probably does in Canada, Australia, Ireland...
I'm glad you got my little joke. Are you so sure that this problem ( of feral people) is really limited to the West, though. We could probably find horrible examples of it wherever we looked. Basically it's a human problem, universal enough to be called the human condition.
Christians would call it sin, but I have my own phrase, " people ( including myself) are just F***ked up."
Not that I've roasted any puppies lately. Probably the wonder is that there isn't more of this behavior, really.
PS Have you visited Colorado ? We only roast cows here, I promise. Generally AFTER they're dead.
But it is on the top list of states to visit.
