No further updates but I'm sure there will be soon.
Oh dear. God bless Justice Ginsburg.
Pancreatic cancer generally has a very poor prognosis
Well...here comes another Obama test. My sympathies to Justice Ginsberg.
She’s 75. Pancreatic cancer is horrible and usually lethal, like ovarian cancer. At her age any chemo she’d have would most likely be a “management” protocol to keep the cancer down rather than cure it. I hope the doctors can keep her comfortable.
Oh come on. I suppose you blame the lack of gun control for the 14000 annual murders in the US.
Sorry, but lack of anti abortion laws means that if the people wish it, there could still be zero abortions. Even if you repeal the murder laws, there could be zero murders if the people choose it.
Obama’s first ten nominees for this position will be tax cheats, and then he’ll get desperate and start working down his list of convicted sex criminals.
My mother died 87 days after being diagnosed.

Usually, by the time pancreatic cancer is found, it’s already too late.
An older brother had it, went in for surgery and they closed him up, saying there was nothing they could do but try to make him comfortable.
He lingered for 14 months. Rough stuff, that.
(I wish her lots of morphine.)
>> Pancreatic cancer is a virtual death sentence isnt it?
Adenocarcinoma, yes. 5 year survival virtually zero if inoperable, and not a whole lot better if it’s localized and surgery is feasible. Quality of life pretty much sucks for PC patients, in any case.
There are other forms of PC, e.g. the endocrine cancers like Steve Jobs got. The prognosis for those is much more favorable.
Justice Ginsburg is 76, I believe. Advanced age in combination with PC is a difficult row to hoe.
Prayers for her. I do not agree with her politically but I would not wish this disease on anyone.
God help us.....we’re about to find out another of the countless reasons we will not recognize our country in a few years...who will she be be replaced with?
Absolutely.
She’s 76 years old. The surgery alone could kill her.
Repent, Ruthie, for the deaths of millions of babies.
It’s almost time to meet your maker.
Prayers going out to her. I wish her the best.
“Pancreatic cancer is a virtual death sentence isnt it?”
Yes, and with her age she probably won’t last long.
At least it is someone that is from the liberal wing of SCOTUS.
Any friend of A. Scalia is ok in my book, and so is any enemy of cancer. God’s mercy on her, may He bless her...and give her all the time she needs here on earth.
1:03 p.m. Supreme Court Justice Ginsburg hospitalized: reports
Bulletins from MarketWatch.com
Here’s an update from Breitbart:
“WASHINTTON (AP) - Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has undergone surgery for pancreatic cancer, apparently at an early stage.
The court said the 75-year-old Ginsburg had the surgery Thursday at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York. She will remain in the hospital for seven to 10 days, said her surgeon. Dr. Murray Brennan. This was according to a release issued by the court.
Ginsburg, a justice since 1993, had colon cancer earlier in her tenure.
The cancer was discovered during a routine, annual exam late last month at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Md.
The court said a CAT scan revealed a tumor measuring about 1 centimeter across the center of the pancreas. “
Morphine is good.
Is it just conservatives who make appointments only to find they are really liberals after they get on the court? Is it too much to ask that once, just once, a liberal President make an appointment of someone thought to be liberal who turns out to be conservative.
I think it’s our turn to be on the receiving end of one of these mistaken appointments!
I am sorry to hear this. I have heard that Pancreatic Cancer is very painful, and no cure.
