Sometimes I feel sorry for liberals, especially our friends and acquaintences that are libs.
The intellectual dishonesty of liberalism causes lots of cognitive dissonance (that’s the $5 way of saying “after a while, being a hypocrite bothers your conscience”.)
I used to fight with them, but it’s not fun for anyone, me included. Now, I oh-so-gently draw them into a mild discussion during which I try oh-so-gently to make a point. Usually, they break the discussion off themselves, often with a simple “I don’t want to talk about it anymore”.
The really hilarious thing is, it’s usually the liberal in the group that provokes the discussion! Go figure.
I think it says more about the “pool” that he’s choosing from than his picks.
By that I mean that the majority of DemocRats probably are tax cheats.

USA Today reports that the Obama White House sheepishly disclosed today that Labor Secretary nominee Hilda Solis’s hubby has just paid up 16-year-old tax liens…yesterday. The disclosure comes just hours before the nomination vote. Hope, Change, Transparency!
