a) The GOP is in deep kimchee if a closet socialist like Mitt Romney is a party headliner, and

b) I’m going to have to revise my opinion of my Senator, John Cornyn -a whole lot downward! - having learned that he’s the one who invited Romney to this affair in the first place.

"Romney "is one of the most respected and trusted voices in the Republican Party today," one NRSC official told The Hill on condition of anonymity"

Yeah, I'd hide my identity, too, if I spewed such a line of horsemanure. Trust and respect a pathological liar ? Yeah. Why don't we just invite Bubba to switch parties while we're at it ?

I agree about Willard the Rat and Below is an Email
I just received from JOHN CORNYN.

Thank you for contacting me about efforts to reform the United Nations (UN). I appreciate having the benefit of your comments on this important matter.

Since its inception in the aftermath of World War II, the UN has been instrumental in advancing interests that are important to both the United States and the world. The UN provides a forum for nations to debate policy and to work together to improve the lives of people around the world. However, despite this goal, I remain deeply concerned about the level of mismanagement of the UN and believe the organization must be reformed if it is to fulfill its obligations.

Further, the United States must carefully evaluate actions taken by the UN to ensure that they are consistent with our national interests. As a representative of our nation, I will support policies that protect our citizens, our allies, and our national interests—regardless of whether the UN agrees. As Americans, we take pride in our national sovereignty, and I will never support legislation or action that infringes upon that sovereignty.

I appreciate having the opportunity to represent the interests of Texans in the United States Senate. Thank you for taking the time to contact me.

Sincerely,

JOHN CORNYN
United States Senator

And they’re going to keep getting post-paid envelopes returned with nasty notes instead of money. The Republican party is not only the stupid party, they are studiedly, stubbornly stupid. The louder we conservatives yell at them “Dead end street”, the louder they turn up the radio and mash the gas pedal. I’m about through with expecting anything from politicians and politics, it’s just not going to happen. If ever you’d think the party would listen to conservatives, you’d think they would now. But they continue with the purge, and have the nerve to ask us for money still.
