Those Republicans are so mean-spirited, the Messiah might just be forced to use the clenched fist on them. Won’t be his fault, of course. The GOP will have brought this on itself. That was George Stephanopoulos’ not-so-subtle warning on GMA this morning, as he discussed with Chris Cuomo the fate of the pork stimulus bill, which in a withering column Charles Krauthammer has called “a legislative abomination.”
CHRIS CUOMO: Can President Obama go to the people? Can he use that as his trump card here?
GEORGE STEPHANOPOULOS: I think it might be what he has to do, Chris. And we’re starting to see elements of that just in the last couple days. The president’s gotten much tougher in his speeches. Now the president’s package has actually been losing public support, but the president remains very popular. And to borrow a metaphor from the president’s inaugural address, he might have to replace his open hand with a clenched fist if this bi-partisan agreement doesn’t come today.

This country cannot be saved until the scales fall from the eyes of the willfully blind. Steffie is unwittingly helping that along. The more Obama and his minions honestly reveal themeslves, the better.

You are so right. Even the Hope-A-Dopes will finally see that he is all hat and no cattle. You can only listen to the SOS so many times to see he is NOT a leader. Course we saw it along time ago but maybe just maybe, even the democrats will see that he is just a bafoon. I think Nancy will push him around too. That part will be fun to watch.

The "clenched fist" is a universal salute of power and solidarity used by leftists, anarchists, socialists, communists, radical trade unionists, pacifists and anti-establishment types across the globe.
Years ago, two Olympic medalists defiantly used the clenched fist salute from the podium as the U.S. anthem played. They were banished from further Olympian participation.
Today, they would be given the Order of Lenin medal by Shiitonallofus and would be hired as special contributors to CNN.
