If the history of life were compressed to one day, the fossil record would begin about 8:30 pm. Lots of stuff happened before.

Not only have certain cellular processes been pushed way back in time

So at the same time celluar processes are being pushed back in time - as 'proof' of creationism - other folks are clinging to the notion that the Earth is young. Interesting coalition you have here.

The image looks more like a zygote... a collection of mere several cells. What looks modern about this? The fact that it appears to be multi-cellular?

So is the claim that there were not comewhat complex multi-celluar life forms prior to the Cambrian explosion? This fella named Dickinsonia begs to differ:

Thanks for the ping, I can’t keep up though. I’m going to go get a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I’m assuming it’ll already be in the kitchen when I get there, by evolutionary chance.

So there’s a hint that the Cambrian Explosion might not have been such an “explosion” after all. “Evolutionists” have been saying that here for years, of course, only to have creationists bring up the Explosion over and over again as a problem, including hints that it was the time God or the Intelligent Designer chose to do some creating. And now that there’s evidence the “evolutionists” were correct, it’s a big problem for evolution.

And of course there’s no explanation for why there aren’t any bones mixed in with these embryos, if their deposition is a result of the flood.

Sometimes I think God Himself could announce, “I used evolution to get the world I wanted, you goofballs, isn’t it obvious?” and these people would headline it as a “problem for evolution.”

Attention- We are all descended from Grapes- not worms:

"'Grape' is key to fossil puzzle"

"A single-celled ball about the size of a grape may provide an explanation for one of the mysteries of fossil history.

Writing in Current Biology, researchers say the creature leaves tracks on the seabed which mirror fossilised tracks left up to 1.8 billion years ago.

Many palaeontologists believe only multi-celled organisms could have made these tracks.

This has been difficult to confirm as no multi-cellular fossils of such an age have ever been found.

Covered in mud

The discovery was made by marine biologists monitoring the sea bed in the Bahamas. They noticed a great deal of tracks made by grape-shaped creatures called protists. Dr Mikhail "Misha" Matz from the University of Texas at Austin, US, led the research.

"We were looking for pretty animals that have eyes, are coloured, or glow in the dark; instead, the most interesting find was the organism that was blind, brainless, and completely covered in mud," he said.

The researchers say the 3cm-wide, single-celled protists propel themselves using tiny protruding legs called pseudopodia. A number of openings all over the body act as mouths and outlets for waste.

The protists move very slowly, taking weeks or even months to make a track of a few centimetres. As the sea bed currents where they were observed are very slight, their tracks are not washed away. "

Note the following a priori claim- 'Must have happened, therefore we tell you it did happen':

"Bilateral symmetry appeared in the Cambrian era about about 542 million years ago, early creatures quickly diversified into all of the major animal groups of today. Quite how or why this rapid diversification, known as the Cambrian explosion, occurred is still one of the biggest questions in animal evolution.

Very few fossils exist of organisms that could be the pre-Cambrian ancestors of bilateral animals, and even those are highly controversial. Fossil traces, such as these tracks are the most accepted evidence of the existence of these proto-animals." [LINK]

This article does not prove that the world is 6,000 years old and that every living thing that currently exists spontaneously emerged at that time with no development that led up to their current forms.

The Almighty can develop the galaxies, the stars, the planets and life any way He pleases — including development in phases and stages.

The evidence is clear that the vast majority of living things that ever existed are extinct and have been for, well, look at the Grand Canyon. Anyone who says those layers took a few thousands of years to form should not be taken seriously.

Addressing the specifics, the Proterozoic Era is where life first developed. The division line between that and the subsequent Paleozoic Era is characterized by the establishment of multicellular organisms. If further evidence necessitates moving the division line, so be it.

Science is subject to revision. Dogma is not.

I await patiently for the many many pictures the evolutionists have of all those transitionary animals that connects us all together with one creature or cell from millions and millions of years ago.

I won't hold my breath waiting though.

However they need to hurry, because I am already 52.

I mean, I won't live forever. Come on guys lets get the proof that will move the theory of evolution past the theory stage.

This is the end of Creationists.

Their theories about the Cambrian explosion have been completely disproved and annihilated by this earth-shattering discovery.

After all, if the theory of evolution has any basis to reality at all. Then we should have millions of examples of evolution right before our eyes. Or did evolution just,,,,,Stop happening.

Did it reach its final destination of perfection?

Where is the examples in the fossil records, and don't give me the example of a pigs tooth. Give me the fossil. After all, there should be millions and millions of examples all over the place just below our feet. Right?

I am a logical person, but I do admit I work on faith that everything is held together and put together by the word of God, which is Christ.

I am no different then the evolutionist and cosmologist from the University of Chicago, professor Sean Carroll. who said of dark matter, and I quote him from and article that was in SPACE.com that had a story about the existence of dark matter.

"No matter what you do [in devising new theories] you're going to have to believe in dark matter."

So, with no evidence other then teories we are told to have faith in this "Dark Matter".

This is the same kind of talk I have been fed by the evolutionists since I was a wee bit boy in grade school.

You must believe, even if we cannot prove it, but we reserve the right to call it a THEORY!. But it's true!

Well, I for one am going to perform my own evolutional test.

I am going to take a dump into a pool of muddy water, then I'm going to turn on my wife's hair dryer and drop it into the mucky mess and see what crawls out!....

I'll get back to you with the result later after I buy her a new hair dryer.
