WASHINGTON – Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Michael Steele today released the following statement concerning the executive order quietly signed by President Barack Obama on Friday ordering the use of union labor for federal construction projects:
“President Obama’s executive order will drive up the cost of government at a time when we should be doing everything possible to save taxpayer dollars. Federal contracts should go to the businesses that can offer taxpayers the best value – not just the unions who supported the Democrats’ campaigns last year. Quietly signing executive orders to payback campaign backers undermines Obama promise to change Washington. It is a disappointment for Americans hoping for more transparency and less politics as usual in Washington.”

I would modifiy....
“Obama denies stimulus money to non-union WHITE workers”

Right to Work states will 'sit out' early federal funds....Then when they 'toe the line' and allow union workers in, and only then, will federal funds come with them.
Relax. The overwhelming number of jobs that will be created by the stimulus are going to the private sector according to estimates.
That hardly qualifies as Communism to me.

I don’t know if you are a follower of Saul Alinsky or if you only appear to have the style of an Alinskyite.
In any case, show me where “historical fact” was “mistated.” If there was no so called mistatement, your imagination must be driving you crazy.
WHY do you have a statue of Lenin in Seattle? Isn’t there anyone there brave enough to blow it into the Pacific? Just saying.
I don’t know about ‘unenforceable rules’, but illegal aliens themselves, even though they are employed illegally, are eligible here in the US for, and members of, most established unions, since unions are “international”. I wonder if they are paying union dues and receiving no union benefits.

That’s a good question, given that the Dims control both houses of Congress; but there are Dim congresscritters from right-to-work states that would oppose it. The only way for this to get through would be via EO (but it will likely be shot down by the courts).

Yes, that is why is was done quietly rather deceptive since he knew he wouldn’t fly in the face of of the public. This so called stimulus bill is full of pay back, makes me sick. He quietly paid back planned parenthood by the global abortion incentive. And enviromentalist by not drilling of oil or natural gas, just alternative fuels that won’t work because we don’t have any autos to run them in or stations to purchase them from. In just a few short weeks we have been given a vision of things to come and it isnt a pretty sight.
