*Squirt's favorite.
Polar icebreaker/cutters
My SUV will take care of that...
The rats in the House have said they will restore everything they can.
This is the Senate Bill with the help of those three wonderful Republicans?
/sarc
$98 million for school nutrition
OBAMA WANTS SMALL CHILDREN TO STARVE
(as long as he does not kill them before they are born, of course)
I don’t see ACORN or Planned (Non)Parenthood in that list.
The NASA cut should include cutting Hansen's job.
And I'm sure they will, if not in this bill, but in others in the coming weeks.
$50 billion of stimulus, $900 billion of pork.
The porkulus package would actually work and be a wonderful lift to the American economy if they would just reduce it by 225%.
Not that I think that ANY of this money is justified, but the priorities boggle my mind. The fact that we have representatives with R's next to their name that will sign off on this makes me ill.
Someone posted here recently that the rural broadband cost of over two billion was already being paid by user costs to the rural folks.
Levin said last night that this is no big deal. He’ll have all of these things put back in the final bill. The ‘RAT politicians in Washington really do hate us. We are too stupid to figure this out and they have to do what THEY think is best for us. Like the “ponytail guy” said, “You (politicians) are our parents.”
$50 million for aquaculture
Well, there goes my grant for a commercial (indoor so it won’t freeze) catfish & crawdad farming start up here in SD.
What is it with politicians and fuzzy and sub prime math? Drop all services for illegal immigrants, make them work for free to clean up the mess they’ve left on the border, deport them, economic problem solved
$2.25 billion for Neighborhood Stabilization
$1.2 billion for retrofitting Project 8 housing
(all ACORN)
And Collin’s and the others are so proud of their accomplishment. Awsome representation I tell ya, really!
If it was “stimulous’, they would “return” $2,500 to every man, woman, and child CITIZEN of the US.
Politicians & immediate family excepted; they get enough out, without paying in, as it is.
Any ACORN funding cut?
