Jindal you magnificent bastard! Now we need to boot the rest of the “let’s get along/dumbass lite” RINOs and show the country what a real conservative form of governance is like.

Sorry, Bobby, but the Country did stop being conservative. If think otherwise, you just haven’t been paying attention. 50+ years of liberal missionary work have finally paid off.

In 2008 the republican party motto is “What happened?”

Partially correct. Republicans also have to reconcile themselves to how they screwed up with regards to the Iraq war. Let’s face it: Spending is a small part of the story as to why Republicans lost. Iraq is a big part of the story. Long-term, immigration is a very important part as well - the Republicans have allowed the Democrats to import millions and millions of loyal voters. That is hardly the way a successful party operates.

He nailed it. For the first time in years, I saw the Republican Senators stand up as conservatives this week.

I know politicians are competitive and ambitious, but it would be great if Jindal, Palin, Mark Sanford of SC, and some others were to form a tiger team of GOP leadership. They could really move the party in the right direction, and make 2010 and 2012 into good years.

"The country fired us from our congressional majority in 2006. Why? The country didn't stop being conservative. The Republican Party did,"
The Republican leadership remained deaf after the 2006 slaughter. For 2008 the Republican Party hoisted John McCain on us as the nominee.
His 365 to 173, a 2-to-1 loss, indicates that the current Republican brand is tainted.
If they remain clueless for 2010, they may not get a chance at majority status for decades.
Regrettably, the current Senate and House minority leaders seem at ease with their minority status.

Why doesn’t he just stick to fixing the zillion problems in Louisiana and stop worrying about campaigning for president.

I really hope this guy runs for the nomination in 2012. I like Sarah P. and would proudly vote for her if she were the nominee, but based upon what I’ve seen of Jindal I would prefer him to be the nominee. His grasp of conservatism and his ability to articulate the conservative position is phenomenal.

Jindal is an optimist.. Optimism is what got the pubbies into the fix they are current in.. When does the pessimism start?.. You cannot fix something you will not admit..
Bushbots, Mcainiacs and other Rinos need to be exposed.. Ann Coulter has been doing it(that) for many "books" now.. What needs to happen is exposing the liberal republicans and dealing with THEM.. The other so-called liberals are beyond help.. The republican party will never be trusted again.. Trusting the "party" is what caused "this" situation..
There needs to be a new caucus invisible to both parties.. An "UN-secret" caucus, even an under ground.. with ideological kamikazes, like Coulter.. Ann takes all the abuse of the left and THRIVES on it.. Shes NOT a coward, you know, like most republicans.. SHe eats abuse and spits the seeds..
America NEEDS many Ann Coulters in many living rooms, garages, pool halls, and restaurant's.. Glen Beck seems to have gotten the message.. Limbaugh needs to re-visit his outrage.. Take it to the streets.. Forget the internet and TV and radio.. SHort wave transmission needs to have a resurgence.. and morse code even..
The optimism needs to STOP.. nice clean pessimism needs a re-start.. True.. I'm being optimistic but I'm not perfect.. forgive me..
