Christians don’t have to worry about that. We will have been taken away before that comes about.
Maybe, maybe not. That is up to interpretation. IF we are here, we will soon understand how current Christians survive.

That’s one of my biggest fears at this point. The only hope there is, IMHO, is to try to stop money from going to these liberal organizations in some way... And then, make it the least profitable as possible for the ruling class to get away with making us all slaves. Prepare, survive, and be aware...
There were some great ideas earlier in the thread on how to at least use what it available to us at the moment to maximize our spending power, and help those who are like-minded. We should think of it like a major boycott. If there is evidence that you will be sponsoring some aspect of this Socialist plan by buying a certain product, then look for it elsewhere, buy a substitute, or go without.
The biggest thing to remember, for Conservatives, IMHO, is that Liberty, and Freedom ALWAYS survives in the heart of the people who KNOW, and SEE, and UNDERSTAND it... I saw this when I studied a bit about the History of Poland when I was researching my husband’s genealogy. They are a people who have been enslaved by various oppressive governments over CENTURIES, but yet their culture, their language, their morals, and their beliefs, and their strength - has ALWAYS endured.
In some of the hardest times it was illegal to even SPEAK Polish, but the women of the country made it their DUTY to teach their children Polish, and everything about Poland, and what it means to be FREE, and how the government SHOULD be acting FOR the people - instead of against them. They taught them at HOME, and they taught them when they brought them on play-dates, and visits to each others homes socially. This is how they kept that spirit alive enough that when the people finally got a chance to overthrow the Soviets’ hold on them they were able to establish their country quickly, and well. I think this is also why they still have evidence of that fighting spirit that caused Poland’s President to go and stand with the other former Soviet Satellite Countries’ leaders to stand with the Georgian President when they were attacked.
All hope is not lost, but we may be in for a LONG fight at this point... It’s a possibility we might have to consider. This may be a matter of long-term strategic planning if there is hope to bring the country back...
Again, all of this is my $.02. My husband thinks I’m a pessimist - my daughter sees me as more of a realist... I just hope I’m wrong...

He will reward the loyal and punish the non-loyal along with the opposition. He will use collectivist parasitism to fund his strategy and the American taxpayer is the “host”. The “security force” will be used to quell dissent and will be well funded by our own stolen tax dollars.
Patronage is when large areas of Kentucky go without power for 2 weeks and Feds do not expend major effort while the MSM remains quiet!

Pool Boy off clout-free in ComEd power probe

The Chronicles of Pool Boy continue with news of a stupendous Chicago political miracle.
Commonwealth Edison said late Thursday that its investigation revealed that the matter of Dave “Pool Boy” Ochal and the Generator X fiasco has been resolved to its satisfaction. There was no clout involved. It was all a series of rather amazing coincidences.
Things just happen sometimes.
Pool Boy, a top political operative for Mayor Richard Daley who ran a patronage army for the mayor and was the city airports operation boss, resigned after these coincidences.
A ComEd airport crew installed a ComEd generator at his home in the middle of a lengthy power outage when all his Northwest Side neighbors were without electricity, and therefore without air conditioning, in August.
When it was exposed in this column, the Generator X controversy upset the mayor, who questioned Pool Boy’s judgment and used the word “stupid.”
But it really upset Pool Boy’s neighbors. They were suffering from an allergic reaction to clout, and confronted the ComEd crew that night, wondering how the guy with the juju in the neighborhood got a generator when all the ice cream in their freezers melted into sticky puddles.
City Inspector General David Hoffman couldn’t interview Ochal, who was gone in a day. In another coincidence, Pool Boy found a new job with a company that has sold at least $20 million worth of airport equipment to the city.
And it also upset ComEd, which began an investigation and vowed to get to the bottom of it all.
That was 63 days ago as of Friday.
Tabrina Davis, a ComEd vice president, notified me late Thursday that the investigation was indeed complete. And guess what?
No clout involved.
“We have completed our investigation into the allegations of preferential treatment for a city of Chicago official,” Davis wrote in an e-mail. “Our investigation has concluded that the allegations of preferential treatment are simply not true. [She underlined “not true.”] A crew was not [she underlined “not”] directed to the home of David Ochal, former deputy director of aviation, on Wednesday, Aug. 6, to deliver or install a generator or restore power to his home.
However, in light of the investigation, the company is using the opportunity to reinforce with employees its storm restoration protocols and implement some process improvements to close some gaps in our reporting and tracking procedures.”
Whew! You skeptics must be ashamed of yourselves. It wasn’t political clout that got Generator X to Pool Boy’s home. What were you thinking?
Rather than quote a news release summary of a report that reads as if cobbled together by a bunch of lawyers, we called Davis at her invitation.
“The crew did not know that it was Mr. Ochal’s home,” she said. “Remember, they were sent to that area to restore power to 17 customers.”
Wasn’t that crew detailed to O’Hare Airport where Ochal was the boss? Who dispatched them?
Davis said that the ComEd supervisor stationed at O’Hare had received several phone calls during the day from airport workers who live in Ochal’s neighborhood. “So he knew there were a number of people without power on that block. The supervisor dispatched them to that neighborhood,” she said.
They were there to find a downed transformer behind Ochal’s house, Davis said. A few years ago, ComEd had to replace that transformer when Pool Boy built his sumptuous concrete pool without city permits. Pool Boy’s cee-ment pond flooded the neighbors’ yards and basements and blew the transformer.
That’s how he got the name Pool Boy. So ComEd knew where the new transformer was supposed to be.
According to the ComEd investigation, the ComEd crew met a crowd outside Ochal’s home. Someone in the home, a woman, said there was another woman inside with health problems and asked if ComEd could help. The crew leader called the supervisor, and asked if he could give up the generator from the truck, and the supervisor gave approval.
I’m sure this happens all the time. Your neighborhood is without power for a couple days, and all you have to do is ask a ComEd crew wandering by, and they give you a generator and hook it up.
We asked Davis: The supervisor from the airport, the crew leader from the airport, the dispatcher from the airport, none of them knew that this was at the home of the airport czar, also known as Pool Boy?
“No,” said Davis. “They did not.”
So this is all just a big coincidence?
Davis paused on the phone. It was a long pause, at least four seconds.
Was this a coincidence?
“You can call it that if you want to,” said Davis from ComEd.
So if nobody did anything wrong, why did Pool Boy resign?
“That’s a question you’d have to ask Mr. Ochal. I can’t speak for him,” said Davis of ComEd.
We called Ochal and left a message, but he didn’t return our call. Consider it a miracle, or one big, fat coincidence after another on the shining boulevard known as The Chicago Way, but whatever you call it, there was no clout. Please believe it, or not.
The mayor has only one thing to do now: Rehire Pool Boy and make him boss of the Bureau of Electricity.

I highly recommend everyone listen to your link at #123, also at #161. My comment at #117. If Cook County is any indicator, there are millions of American, like Illinoisians, ready and waiting for these patronage jobs. I heard about the FEMA camps that are ready in the event of civil unrest. Rockefeller from WV alluded to it in his comments on Saturday during the Pork Bill discussion in the Senate. But he was alluding to the need for this bill now in order to curb the danger of civil unrest. Politicians don’t see any danger from the the right. We are the ones with families and jobs and something to lose. Is it a miscalculation on their part?
