AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, serving humanity simply by showing up, and he’s not retiring until every American agrees with him, do NOT doubt him, with shrieks of joy at the mere mention of his name (that’s Rush, for those in Rio Linda),the Mandarin of Talk Radio, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back — just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, all-concerned Maha-Rushie! America’s anchorman, truth detector, and doctor of democracy. A Real Man, a living legend, a way of life. Commander in Chief of U.S. Operation Chaos. Chief Waga-Waga El Rushbo of the El Conservo Tribe. Chief of the Patriotism Police. Leader of the Conservative Movement. A Weapon of Mass Instruction. El Rushbo (a little Spanish lingo, there). He is the man who is running America (you know it and I know it). He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do—that’s host. Get ready to what you were born to do—that’s listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).

We love to hear Rush Limbaugh,
Excellence in Broadcasting.
From sea to shining sea,
Millions and millions listen.
Conservative voice of freedom,
Heard throughout all America.
A message pure and truthful,
The downhearted are encouraged.
Integrity and honesty his motto.
We love you, Rush.
Listen to Rush Limbaugh.
G-d Bless you, Rush Limbaugh.

Elderly people have a duty to die ... How Dickensian, “Are there no prisons, Are there no workhouses. They’d better die then and decrease the surplus population.”

The doctor who took the $3000 should have explained this to them.

I'm sure s/he did...but that is a very tough decision to make at the time. Do you want the guilt? Do you want the pet around a couple more years? Will this decision be regretted? It's not just about money.

Yeah, that’s always a tough decision. When we put Purrcy down, I felt almost like I was playing God with his life. But after the necropsy, I wondered if maybe I had waited too long.

C’mon Rush - this IS a jobs stimulus bill. Every time an old person dies, it creates a job. Burial, flowers, hell, maybe their kids will get what’s left a little sooner. Not to mention that the Government will get their cut from the death tax.

This is the official abandon the elderly contingent bill. Bamster knows that once all those millions of illegals are amnestied, the Dems don’t need AARP anymore.

"how AARP is going to spin this to their members"

AARP is a worthless insurance company.

I’ll bet this wouldn’t apply to, say, Ted Kennedy...OR Tom Daschle. But it would sure as heck apply to US!

That’s how I am. My vet is fair and has always been very kind and generous to me. He also is very pragmatic when it comes to treatment and offers sound advice.

It’s nice to know he cares about the animals.

I had to put down my beloved dog, Bozo, and cried for a week but there was nothing that could be done for him.

Pork? Forget pork the stimulus bill is Marx.

A Marxist revolution from the top down.

The 1960s street rabble and their ideological issue are off the streets and in business attire manning the federal government's instruments of power. They just need a few tweaks to make Marx it.

BTW, listening to Rush and his description of what is in store for the elderly (Dem Gov. Lamm: Old people have a duty to die and get out of the way) I say again:

Government health care is THE solution for the Social Security funding problem. Few Baby Boomers will survive past age 65.

It's soooooooo Marxist! The deaths of a couple of people is a tragedy. The death of millions is just a statistic.

The doctor who took the $3000 should have explained this to them.

She did. She made no guarantees. My wife wasn't ready to let go at that time and Kitty got about half a year more.

Things are different this time around... we're prepared to let Kitty go if it comes to that.

They would bankrupt the Treasury to keep a liberal like Kennedy alive.

I lived in Scotia in my elementary school years. I remember the snow nearly reaching the second floor of the house several times. It was great fun, for a kid. I always wanted to jump out the second floor window into the stuff, but that ice layer that always seemed to form on the top kept me from thinking that a good thing to do.

Besides, who would close the window after me? My father’s belt would have found me for opening a window in winter.

Same here....and my vet will spend a half hour or more on the phone to me explaining every little thing about a blood test, etc...that's worth alot to me....

It sounds like Rush is being flippant today? Is he taking this stimulus bill seriously? I will hear it tomorrow....

AARP however get their members to vote in larger numbers than young people ... and they will not take kindly to being cast aside like yesterday’s garbage.
