The City of Salem has warned people away from Bridge, Lathrop, Barton and Webb Streets via reverse 911 and local access cable. I can see helicopters and can hear sirens.
NOTHING on the local news TV or radio stations and it has been going on for over an hour.
Other than the link you posted, there’s still nothing on local TV news. That’s strange.
Dang, I was kinda hoping the boston tea party 2 was starting up and the media was trying to protect their savior from bad publicity by not covering it. Darn !

you guys are hilarious. coming straight from me, being someone from salem. on bridge st. there was this guy and apparently he’s a drunk and has got some mental issues, and he took a hostage and held the hostage at knifepoint and police were shot at and there were cops being shot at and such. my friend said it might be on a few news channels, so watch for it. it happened in a mutli-family home right next to a convinence store/gas station.
