HO CHI MINH COMES TO MEXICO CITY: A STATUE SPEAKS A WARNING TO THE UNITED STATES
February 9, 2009
International News Analysis Today By Toby Westerman
The dedication of a statue to Vietnamese communist revolutionary leader Ho Chi Minh in Mexico City is a profound warning to the United States concerning growing power and influence of leftist tyranny. The U.S. centralized media has ignored this event, to its disgrace and the peril of all those who love freedom.
On January 17, 2008 Marcelo Ebrard, mayor of Mexico City, dedicated a statue of Ho during ceremonies attended by Vietnam's ambassador to Mexico, Pham Van Que, who stated that the statue "demonstrates closer solidarity and friendship" between the two nations. Ebrand interpreted this "solidarity and friendship" in terms of the bloody wars in Vietnam and associated Mexico with those struggles.
The "victories of the Vietnamese people" not only brought a brutal communist government to Vietnam, but also changed "the situation of
mankind," according to Ebrand and carried by a Vietnamese government Internet site.

He hoped that bilateral cooperation will be expanded in economy and culture.
Mexico City s Governor Marcelo Ebrard said that victories of the Vietnamese people in the past not only helped change Vietnam , but also the situation of the mankind. Like Vietnam , Mexico gained victories in struggles against French and US invaders.”
Does anyone know if Mexico is on the brink of civil war? There seems to be a lot going on in the South.
Chief among those "sympathizers" would be Obama's "family friend," Bill Ayers. Ho is his idol.
Can’t be any further to the left than the Democratic Party. The only reason the Dems would resist an invasion by communists from Mexico is that they would be worried that the communists would be too conservative.
The drug cartels have been at war quite awhile in Mexico and that has spilled into the USA.
Red Dawn??
OPINION:
Ongoing breakdown of the Mexican society.

Mexico today seems like Illinois in the 1920’s times a thousand or so. Weak, corrupt government, rampant crime, political violence, economic turmoil; it’s all there. Depending on how you looked at it, either the Klan or the bootleggers owned the place. Law enforcement couldn’t be relied on, the average citizen didn’t see nothing. Whether it was the Depression or the end of prohibition that calmed things down is debatable. The FBI and the NFA of ‘34 grew out of it though. Mexico going down the tubes for real would be a disaster of the first order.
wow another good reason to let 40 million illegal Mexican campesinos squat here
try to tell you do gooders this 4 years ago(not u)
The profound warning to the United States concerning growing power and influence of leftist we missed. The communist have just taken over Mexico. No big deal you knew it was coming. However it will cause a flood of people seeking asylum here in the US! God help us and God help Mexico.

President Eisenhower in 1953-4 made sure the braceros went home, to open up those jobs for American citizens. The braceros had started coming in during WW IIs worker shortage. But guess who Eisenhower found with his foot planted firmly in the door, flouting the president and trying to make sure the Mexicans stayed? Lyndon B. Johnson, thats who. Eisenhower found a way around LBJ and ordered the Mexicans home by signing an Executive Order, using his control of the executive departments and regulatory authority for that purpose.

What a crock. Someone tell me WHY our government continues with the joke that Mexico is our friend?
