So far it doesn’t sound like a press conference. Looking like a speech to me.
He’s campaigning for 2012. Every time he opens his fat trap he is campaigning. He doesn’t know how to talk any other way, just like Rush said, his people tell him to use words that inspire people and make them all go awwwwwwwwwwwwwww

Was Obama ever a used car salesman? The desperation and “last chance” nature of his pitch sounds eerily like the salesman that tried to sell me a Neon back in the 90’s that was only available one day only.
Of course the porkulus is going to pass anyhow, this exercise is to give his collabarators political cover to avoid blame for it.
