Wilders barred from UK: "would threaten community harmony and therefore public security"

Free Speech Death Watch Update: dhimmitude is triumphant today in the UK. Britain's Muslim peer, Lord Nazir Ahmed, threatened to mobilize 10,000 Muslims to protest Wilders' appearance and the showing of Fitna in the British Parliament. Instead of standing up to this thuggery, telling Lord Ahmed that the public order will be protected and making it clear that the British government would protect the freedom of speech as a cornerstone of free society, the British have caved:

The UK is a dhimmi state. Give it a few more years and they’ll be a caliphate.

England, it was nice knowin' ya!

A much more fitting response would have been to respond that the right to free speech will be upheld and order would be maintained. Then suggest to IN-Trade that the over-under betting line on Muslim dead in the event of such a protest should be set at about 1,800.

Instead, "British" mullahs are permitted to harangue at every street corner calling for the death of all infidels, and anyone opposing them is banned due to the threat of muslim violence. Makes a lot of sense, huh?

As one of the comments stated, it’s ironic that the British government would bar Wilders from coming because of his “bigotry”, while they have been cowed at the threat of the horde of Muslims in Britain and what they might do.

“Muslim Lord cows House of Lords into submission for daring to want to invite Geert Wilders”

SNIPPET: “More on this story. “Muslims in the Lords,” by Thomas Landen for the Brussels Journal, January 26 (thanks to Bob):

A member of the Lords intended to invite her colleagues to a private meeting in a conference room in the House of Lords to meet the Dutch politician Geert Wilders, an elected member of the Dutch parliament, to watch his controversial movie Fitna and discuss the movie and Mr. Wilders’ opinions with him.

Barely had the invitation been sent to all the members of the House when Lord Ahmed raised hell. He threatened to mobilize 10,000 Muslims to prevent Mr. Wilders from entering the House and threatened to take the colleague who was organizing the event to court. The result is that the event, which should have taken place next Thursday was cancelled.

Lord Ahmed immediately went to the Pakistani press to boast about his achievement, which he calls “a victory for the Muslim community.”

A victory for the Muslim community, but a defeat for British democracy where topics to which Muslims object cannot even be debated. That, apparently, is what one gets when one accepts Muslims into the House of Lords.”
