I've been calling Congress almost constantly since last week. especially Specter and Casey. Interestingly enough after getting through several times over the past couple of days I started getting "Call Failed" messages from Specter's DC office. That prompted me to ask is they have a phone blocker installed. They claim no but I'm still not convinced. If I find out they DO have a blocker...

In any case...

Jim, would you make a thread with all the news outlets phone numbers, emails, etc on the front page?

I think we will get more satisfaction that way. I don’t think the RINOs care what we think, as long as the media doesn’t care.

Maybe some of the moderate (or not as liberal) Dems would think twice about voting for a bill that socializes health care and throws grandma and grandpa under the bus.

The only “victory” can a principled one, to to make it a wholly democrat-owned piece of legislation. That might be too much, asking that Snowe Collins and Specter respect the principles of the party that helped them get elected.

Jim, if you want to kill porkulus, I believe you must adopt a version of Limbaugh’s operation chaos.

That is you must pressure Pelosi and the democrats in the house to hold out for whole loaf. You need to support Pelosi and make her want it all. The battle cry should be “we won, the conservative rubes lost and we want it all”

Then, the republicans in the senate will walk away en masse on the final vote, and fillibuster it too.
