Look, I’m trying to explain something that really happened. It wasn’t just an illusion I was suffering from; other drivers were having the same experience. I don’t know a great deal about optics and was just advancing a potential explanation, but perhaps a friend of mine who does understand physics in general and optics in particular can come up with an explanation for these experiences.
I didn’t mean to imply you were lying, only that your explanation seems off.
What??????????? NO GOLD????????
I’ve seen the end of a rainbow too. In my backyard.
It’s so common here, I haven’t bothered to take photos.
But now...maybe I will. :-)
There is a beautiful park in San Francisco with millions of flowers; there are benches, fountains and, of course, sprinklers.
One day I took my daughter there when she was six and spotted a sprinkler along the path.
I asked Cheryl if she wanted to see a rainbow and she giggled out a yes, we turned at an angle and walked slowly around the spurting water and there, at the precise point where the sun met the mist was a brightly-colored arc — imagine her delight at what I had ‘made.’
Say, is that “leprechaun roadkill” laying off to the side of the road there? ;-)
to goatgranny Whoops I think the song goes bluebirds fly, not sing...me bad...sorry signed goat granny
If you look closely, it even shows the Golden Pot!
I WANT that tee shirt! Where can I find it???
Isn’t it just a wee bit lovely, now ; )
