WASHINGTON: US federal authorities have claimed to have unearthed a major H-1B visa racket with the arrest of at least 11 persons, most of them suspected to be of Indian origin.
Though the officials did not reveal the citizenship of those arrested, the names released indicated that almost all of them are either Indian or persons of Indian origin.
Vision Systems Group, an IT company headquartered in South Plainfield New Jersey, has been indicted on 10 federal counts including conspiracy and mail fraud charge. Viswa Mandalapu is its CEO and president, according to the information available on the company's website.

Those poor employers are so repressed by government taxes regulation that, with the normal profit motive in mind, they exploit every legal loophole available to stay competitive.
American worker’s are not under attack by American employers, but by their own, greedy government. Taxes, regulations and lawsuits are the enemy of both labor and business.
You are looking up the wrong skirt, if you think otherwise.
The H1B program is an absolute fraud whose only purpose is to bring in cheap, indentured servants willing to work at any wage under any conditions in hope of eventually obtaining a green card. It flys in the face if the 13th Amendment (that’s the one that bans slavery). It should be eiliminated immediately.
Those are just the worthless self absorbed business owners. I hope they do close up shop so that deent people will take their place.
We don’t need worthless traitors that want to undercut their ountrymen for a buck.
This is too little too late. We have thousands of Indians, Chinese and Malaysians in Silicon Valley and elsewhere who are required to leave the US when they are laid off but continue to remain, enter into false marriages or otherwise go into hiding. This is a completely broken down system. We need to stop all H1B visas except for those with extraordinarily scientifically skilled individuals. Go after the immigration attorneys in the US. Frog-march a few of them and set an example. Many of them are Indian and Chinese attorneys.
That's a quote from Karl Marx, right?
Well, don't worry Karl. Obama is going to grant your wish. The only business owner is going to be the Federal Government. And I'm sure the Democrats who run the government will be much more fair than those dirty Capitalists and Free Traders you hate so much.
Not to mention out sourcing and cheap H-1B visa really helps in the sells of those millions of over priced home.
Yeah but those million dollar homes are more likely being sold to the traitorous jerks seling out their countrymen as opposed to the Indian Visa worker. Because we all know that they’re being paid less than their American counterpart.
The bastard employers think they can work illegals make a fast buck and someone else will pay a good wage to buy their worthless products. Hope many of the bastard home builders enjoy eating the paint off of all those illegal built homes.
Ohhh the accusations soo boring, so overused.
One might equate you to Benedict Arnold or William Ayers...

Not anti business, just pro American.
YES!!!
Yeah I have very little sympathy for them.
Indians rank high for me as far as immigrant but yes....there is cheating and skulduggery. Also thanks to Jorge’s attitudes we know have American educated immigration lawyers who are Indians and Chinese etc etc who keep their fellow countrymen from being deported
I hear the numbers of illegal Muslims from India, Pakistan and Bangladesh is very very high
America has one of the lowest effective corporate income taxes in the developed world. American employers chase after the H1B’s because they are cheap, and Indian-American employers who do the hiring will openly discriminate against non-Indians, but thats another story. Suppose the U.S. government stopped taxing businesses altogether, do you think employers will stop hiring H1B’s? Fat chance.
Would you share your source for that info? I am very interested in seeing it because my studies indicate the opposite. Are you using VAT in that analysis?
In regards to the natural drive for lower costs, this is not a disease that "businesses" suffer from. It is a normal human response to all resources. We like them cheaper and faster. What it means for labor is don't count on your government or your employer count on yourself.
We will never return to a somewhat imaginary state, and one that at best was short lived, where you could expect lifetime employment. Better to be your own boss and get the tax benefits being a contractor brings.
Taxwise that is the direction we are being driven in

Perhaps you got distracted when you were typing this.
Currently, the average combined federal and state corporate tax rate in the U.S. is 39.3 percent, second among OECD countries to Japan’s combined rate of 39.5 percent.1 Lowering the federal rate to 30.5 percent would only lower the U.S.’s ranking to fifth highest among industrialized countries.
