Since founding the Gerard Health Foundation in 2001, retired Catholic businessman Raymond B. Ruddy has given away millions to fund pro-life causes, abstinence education and efforts to end the HIV and AIDS pandemic.
But his businessman's mind would like those seeking grants to quantify the effect his dollars are having on the foundation's stated goal -- to save lives.

I’d ponder some such ideas . . . alas . . . they’d be . . .
troublesome . . . and paradoxical . . . involving certain . . . traitorous legislators and bureaucrats.

Your post is a God send. I have been looking for just such funding. In fact, I have been looking for the past two years.
I definitely will submit my proposal.
Will say a prayer for you. This might be finally what I was looking for.

I had heard of this guy before but couldn’t remember his name or where I saw the article about him.
Anyway, here in Vegas, one heroic woman after years of dedication and hard work, finally opened a home for pregnant teens thrown out by their parents and with no place to go. These girls are in danger of aborting out of fear and hopelessness. In the two years since the opening, they have had quite a few young ladies who have given birth.
The home depends on private contributions. I have sent along this link to her in the hopes that this will be one of the good causes he can help.

Notice that Mr. Ruddy isn't a lib who simply throws money at a problem. He wants to be shown how he can get the biggest bang for his buck, with concrete expected results, before committing financial resources.
God bless him and his wife for their contribution towards the Culture of Life.
