Protesters will gather at the west steps of the Capitol (Lincoln Street, between 14th and Colfax) from 11:00 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mountain time."

Listening to the radio today, so many people are LIVID with not only the de-stimulus package, but that The One has come here to sign it. Our fair state is beautiful. Why we have to allow this kind of garbage is beyond me.

I thought Obama rushed this pork bill through to prevent a catastrophe from happening? If everything was signed on Friday, why didn’t he wait and sign off on it himself?
As you know, this wasn't about any kind of fiscal emergency (we're "just people", after all), but POWER. The dims have been salivating for this day...the day they could take away our freedoms AND make us pay for the efforts.

My sister is a democrat who voted for BO. You should have heard her this a.m. She is FURIOUS, She says he flat out lied - saying there would be no more pork and that’s all this bill is. She like the rest of us are worried about the future - the effect this debt will have on our kids.
Americans for Prosperity in Colorado will be holding an event to put light on the theft bill--also known as the "stimulus" bill or the so-called American Reinvestment and Recovery Act--he will be signing in Denver on this Tuesday, February 17 between noon and 3pm.

Certainly, having events is useful, but some of them are simply preaching to the choir. To have an impact, you have to show others - such as the millions of people who use Youtube - that Obama hasn’t thought through everything involved or doesn’t really care about American workers.
Wow, I think your sister might be smarter than most Dems if she figured him out this soon. I have a feeling most of his followers are remaining true believers.

The ones who are not "true believers" but voted for him because of white guilt and because they actually believed his BS, will not change their minds quickly for the most part, because if they admit he is a liar, a socialist, communist SOB, then they will have to admit they made a mistake. People hate admitting they are wrong.
What we will see is a gradual building up of rage and soon most people won't admit voting for him, that way they can get out of admitting they screwed up!
I have a friend who works in a place (in Portland, Oregon) where all but her are slobbering BO lovers. Or maybe I should say “were”. Some are now having second thoughts.
They should have started smelling a rat when his inauguration speech - which they fervently watched expecting the next world shaking turn of phrase, was so cliche ridden and uninspiring.
Had to stop in Chicago first and see if Ayers would do the signature for him?
