Obama is driving us toward “the worst economy since the Great Depression”.
I heard some economist claiming unemployment will hit 11% and the deficit under Obama will reach over $3 trillion.
Unemployment in my county topped 11% two weeks ago. Meanwhile Zero is treating my governor (Jenny “the depressionator” Granholm) like some kind of financial wizard.
The worse things get the more Granholm wants to raise taxes. Smokers are going to love the latest. Taxes drove a lot of people to rolling their own at a fraction of the cost. Now taxes on a $20 bag of tobacco are going up by $25.
The Congressional Budget Office estimates that the full cost of this bill, including its $348 billion debt service and the out-year financing,
will reach $3.2 trillion.

President Barack Obama's administration
placed an eye-watering $2.3 trillion price tag on its plan to bail out the US banking system Friday, opening up what it called a second front in the battle to pull the country out of recession.

Projections for 2009 deficit range from
Goldman Sachs's $1.43 trillion to $1.9 trillion from economic firm Strategas Research Partners. At 13.5% of GDP, a $1.9 trillion shortfall would
more than double the peacetime record during Ronald Reagan's presidency, and approach the mark set in 1942 as the U.S. joined World War II. And this is just the plain ole budget of NORMAL spending of the U.S. Government.

That's 24,667 dollars for every man, woman and child in America. Of course we all know that only 50% of Americans actually pay income taxes, therefore, the cost per household member of an actual taxpayer is $49,333. For a family of four that's nearly 200,000 USD per household. So McCain's right about the "generational theft" thingy. But, you have to give Obama a bit of credit. After all he's giving everyone $13 every two weeks in their paycheck.
It took Bush 8 years to add $4T to our national debt. It only took Obama 4 weeks to add another $7.6 trillion.
