Jimmy Carter’s former National Security Adviser expressed his concern about the possibility of riots on Morning Joe today. To stave them off, he proposes the creation of a voluntary National Solidarity Fund, whose contributors would be the fat cats who have made out well in recent times.

Riots would just be the start. They would be the kickoff to martial law and then CW2.

This is much worse. He’s calling for what will become the Obama Brown Shirts. Wake up folks - these people want to remake the USA into Venezuela. That’s how Chavez keeps his power: fear, misery and a terrified “electorate” patrolled by his “Bolivars”. Understood. My feeling is that these things start off as trial balloons where people talk about voluntary measures, and eventually the plan is implemented at the point of a gun.

Here in MA, when you file taxes you can voluntarily pay more than you are required to. MA is about the Bluest of the Blue states, and I think about .000000001% of our taxpayers opt to voluntarily send money to the government.
