On Mondays CBS Early Show, co-host Maggie Rodriguez asked Republican Congressman Eric Cantor about President Obamas proposed housing bill: "Unlike the stimulus, will you urge your fellow Republicans in the House to support this?" When Cantor criticized the proposed bill and the passage of the "stimulus" bill, Rodriguez declared: "But Congressman, it's clear that Americans are begging for help with foreclosures. Corporations are begging for bailouts. Can the Republican Party accept that there are situations when large-scale government intervention is necessary?"
Cantor began to explain that Republicans supported some aspects of the "stimulus," but Rodriguez quickly interrupted him: "But everyone opposed it. Why? Where's the bipartisanship?" Before Cantor could respond, she added: "Are you afraid of being seen as obstructionist?" An on-screen graphic read: "Economic Crisis, Party Politics & Recovery Roadblocks."
Cantor replied by describing the lack of "bipartisanship" of congressinonal Democrats: "And if you look at the bill that was put together, it was brought to the floor after a couple of hours having just been printed. No one -- not one member of the Senate, not one member of the House -- was able to read the bill. And I believe the public's got a right to know. So the fashion in which this plan was put together by Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Leader Harry Reid was just unacceptable."

More Libtard garbage from SeeBS Smooze.
Basic math seems to have escaped the effete media ... how does a minority obstruct anything when they don’t have the votes? Oh wait ... that’s right. Facts don’t mean jack.
Yup. If this bill is so wonderful, then why did the Democrats care if it was bipartisan?
CYA.
It is now Mr. Obama’s economy.
When he announces his pretzel logic bill tomorrow designed to say homeowners “at risk,” he will own even more of the economy.
OMG, what a mess.
4th line of post “say s/b “save”
Re the cartoon.....right on! LOLOL
As for Cantor,he’s the man. I’d like to see him run in 2012.
A Palin/Cantor ticket would be nice.
The notable party line vote on the so called Stimulus bill (Spend-a-thon) was a clear example of the philosophical differences between the DhimmiRats and the Pubbies. For it to have turned out any other way would have been more troubling than this outcome.
Pretty straightforward, IMO...
If you want the gubbmint to take care of you at the expense of others, vote DhimmiRat.
If you want a bit less gubmint and an interventionist foreign policy, vote Pubbie.
If you want a gubbmint confined more closely to the strictures of the US Constitution, vote Libertarian or Constitution Party
They’re starting to spread the idea of Republican obstructionists so they can blame them for Obama’s policy failures later.
History will say that Republican partisan politics obstructed any chance that the Obama presidency had of successfully implementing much needed change.
All Republicans should wear the “Obstructionist” label as a badge of honor.
The dimwit’s had the votes to pass this garbage, in the first place.

I wonder what the moronic media had to say about this fact? The empty skirt more than likely could only repeat the Neo Marxist playbook that the Repubs are "obstructionists." She needs to listen to Rush Limbaugh so he can explain what "Bipartisianship" means to the Dems; it is a one-way street for the Pubs to agree with the Dems. That is bipartisianship! What a dummy and waste of time.
Someone should make an obstructionist lapel pin and send one to all but the three traitors and Grahm and McCain and... oh well never mind
