VANITY: Did anyone else notice the music before and after Obama's signing ceremony?

Posted on 02/17/2009 12:29:29 PM PST by cc2k

Right before they started, and right after he signed the bill.

The music was the pieces that Monty Python's Flying Circus used for their theme.

I was waiting for the giant animated foot to smash down on the stage.

Foward Together With the Party and the People would have been more appropriate.

Any episode of Sponge-Bob Squarepants has more intellectually stimulating conversation than ANY Presidential Speech an/or Press Conference and/or interview with any "Congress-critter" and/or any statement by any "Administration Spokesperson" and/or any analysis by any "pundit".

It's quite sad, actually.

that unaccomplished negro is an illegal resident of the White House....

I do not call him my president. I presently do not have a president and won't for at least 3 years and 10 months at minimum. Unfortunately, we do have an unaccomplished negro as you say(I tend to agree) who occupies the office.

We need to reclaim our status in 2010 and begin the process of recovery....

I've been referring to him as Present Obama since he was elected. Partly because the press immediately started calling him "President" Obama.

Here's Present Obama's Official Seal

"President" with no ID

“Any episode of Sponge-Bob Squarepants has more intellectually stimulating conversation...”

You could probably add Barney, Teletubbies, and Beavis and Butthead to that.

Sadly a Bill Plympton cartoon special has more reality than what’s been happening in this country over the past two weeks..

Yup, I watched a Tivoed rerun of Alfred Hitchcock. It was not nearly as scary as the current administration.

Speaking of clowns, on the Wall Street Exchange floor during Geithner’s testimony, someone passed out the lyrics of ‘Send in the Clowns’
