If anyone on HuffPo has their heads explode then we would be hearing of lots of cases of rectal damage, because we all know that anyone who lives there has their heads up their A$$.

No, they just saved him.
Now he does not have to come up with a solution as to what to do with those terrorist that would otherwise have to be removed from Guantanamo.

I have a novel idea. How about giving final justice to these animals? Given another chance, these pigs would kill as many of us as possible.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit ruled Wednesday that only immigration officials, not a judge, can bring foreigners into the country.

I don’t think it is a slapdown, because the appeals court said immigration officials had to bring them into the country, not a judge. That would be Obama’s immigration officials if I am correct. One step back, two steps forward.

This is a win for Congress and the Executive. The district court judge in this case initially ordered that the Uighurs being held at Gitmo must be released into the US. Today the Circuit Court said that judge was wrong and that it was up to the President and Congress to decide what to do with aliens.

If we get our act together, he’ll only have 2 years to pack those courts.

Roosevelt was way smarter than Obama (just as arrogant, though) and HE couldn't manage to pack the courts, so I'm not real worried about Obama being able to.

Kenyan Komrade loves this ruling. He can blame it on the courts. Kenyan knows damn well any trial on USA soil will turn into a televised circus

Komrade can tell his liberal stooges-— “I tried!”

Don’t get too comfy with this ruling. Barry is best buds with all the USSC Justices. He’ll get the ruling he needs out of his homies.

My question: is this a slapdown to Obama?

No.

He has fulfilled a campaign promise to try and close GITMO and thus the moonbats are happy. And with this ruling, he doesn't have to deal with the reality of terrorist on US soil.

For liberals, intention is more important than results.
For conservatives, results are more important.

Obama still wins.
