Attorney General Eric Holder described the United States Wednesday as a nation of cowards on matters of race, saying most Americans avoid discussing unresolved racial issues.Hey Eric, you hypocritical coward, you wanna talk about unresolved racial issues?
Why don't you start by addressing THIS one?

Certainly, that’s the ticket. Race isn’t as all-encompassing an obsession as it ought to be.

It’s easy to say these things unchecked from the safety of the margins with no accountability. When YOU are responsible for the governing of a nation...you are accountable for saying things like this. Eric is about to find out how heavy is the head that wears the crown.

If we could only be as brave as Rev Wright when talking about race...Why is the Attorney General making such stupid incendiary POLITICAL statements?

Spread the word! Insulting the nation is the ticket. This is Obambi’s “malaise” speech. Go racialists!
To: Free ThinkerNY
This is really scarey. We're going to wind up with laws against "hate speech" like Canada and Britain have.
It is none the government's business what any American thinks about another American regardless of race, creed, or color-none, zip, zero, rien, nada, riente, the big goose egg.
"F" Eric Holder...the man who signed of on the pardon of none terrorists.

Another rich and privileged member of the power elite presents himself as a downtrodden designated minority. Trying to stir up more race resentments, obviously.
Somebody started a thread earlier that was locked, asking the question, how black do you have to be to qualify as a "black"? Eric holder doesn't look much darker than many an Arab or Italian.
The legal answer is, you have to be at least 1/8 black to claim minority status. But the political answer seems to be, whatever you can get away with.

Not me Eric!
Obama is an elitist and a socialist.
He hates being questioned or challenged and set a policy agenda for America that is consistent with owning the most liberal voting record in the U.S. Senate.
Obama never had to actually compete for public office, enroute to his run for President. He has yet to reveal his college transcripts or any of his college writings. He’s a shadow figure, running on image rather than substance.
And you, Eric, are an irresponsible lawyer, who’s actions place politics above justice.

Yes, but come CW2 and we’ll see that even cowards may change their ways and fight... Let’s just hope that once we win we are quick to document that the thing was NOT about race, but about the horrible injustices perpetrated on the people by the government.

Though race-related issues continue to occupy a significant portion of our political discussion, and though there remain many unresolved racial issues in this nation, we, average Americans, simply do not talk enough with each other about things racial. Um... why do I think Holder doesn't really want us to talk to each other; I think what he has in mind is more of a one-sided lecture than a discussion.
I sure am glad we're in a post-racial society now and we don't have to worry about this crap anymore. If they want to treat Obama like the messiah, I figure he must have absolved any of us of past "sins"...

Mr. Holder, your insecurity is showing. I can prove to you that I am more multicultural than you are. However, you seem to have a certain requirement and definition for that kind of thing. You remind me of a teenager that has doubts about his manhood and being a bully is the only way you have to deal with it..

This sort of language is completely out of line for an Attorney General. This is the type of trash talking you'd expect from Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson.
Utterly inappropriate and a disgrace to the office of the Attorney General.

I’ve been hearing about race for the last forty five years. I don’t know what Holder meant by his statement. Maybe he can explain it.

He needs to resign for calling Americans cowards and also for the kooky idea that Americans need to constantly talk about their “racial past” - a bizarre and dangerous notion that no attorney general should be advancing.
I’d like this idiot to come to my house to tell me what a coward I am.

we must be a nation of cowards. We don't speak out against this kind of race baiting and hypocrisy for fear of being labeled a racist.

Oh come on. We don't talk about it enough? That's all these race-bating leftists want to talk about - they can't get enough of it. Instead of encouraging people to get on with their lives, work to improve their situation and fight through barriers, leftists want to talk about their grievances ad nauseum.
