OK Deb. You get buttwipes like Tom Davis (ex Virginia Congressman, big time RINO, and leader of the “Republican Main Street Coalition”), Susan Collins, Olympia Snowe, and Arlen Sphincter betraying the party over and over again, and Davis wanting to move the party “to the center”: read: conservatives sit down and shut up. Lindsay Grahamnesty now wants the banks nationalized.

If that is the direction the Stupid Party wants to go, no thanks.

No matter how you sugarcoat s#!t, I ain’t bitin’.
I will work on making the party better if and only if, and when, as a party, they signal a move toward conservatism.

Get off it. The three Senators who flipped always flip, but the rest of the Republican House and Senate members held. Of course, that means nothing to the usual malcontents who are constantly wetting their pants and storming off. Liberal states elect liberal Republicans, but they still count toward the future majority.

The Christians and other conservatives who stayed home because McCain wasn't conservative enough are responsible for every Obama victory and for handing our country over to the Snowes and Specters.

When the prima donnas who call themselves "conservative" decide to get off their whiny asses and take back the party, it will be there...unless the malcontents succeed in destroying it.

Come on, guys - her analogy was right:

Deb: Conservatism is an airliner...the Republican party is the fuel. You get NOWHERE without the vehicle. Conservatives are just a bunch of people talking to each other without the party.

We need both. Otherwise, we have something analogous to the GOP/Perot split, and the Tax Cheat Party Wins Forever.
