They could refuse to turn over that portion of the federal income taxes . . .

I also hope the governors get together and plan measured resistance. The states, which granted limited powers to their creation, the federal government, have long had their retained powers abused by radical judges and Leftist looney tunes like Pelosi/Reid/Obama.

It is time for the states to challenge our tyrannical federal government.

It is time for the states to challenge our tyrannical federal government.

In a measured, responsive, and escalating manner.

Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal is also “considering” not accepting the government socialist pork fund.

Why? He put it this way: he’s going to look at what strings are attached.

Too many federal socialist strings, and the money aint worth turning your life over to the big government God-surrogate state.

So it ISN’T about putting “GOP ideology ahead of the welfare of the people.” That is a straw man. It is demagoguery. It is exactly how the blatantly corrupt and dishonest media is trying to present it.

They said "hardcore"
Actually, you should see "Hardcore" starring George C. Scott. (Some things named "hardcore" are good. Trust me.)

Here’s a double entendre we have been laughing at for a couple of days:

What if they gave a stimulus and nobody came?

H/T Mr. reformedliberal

The RINOs who want the money? “Charlie Crist of Florida, Sonny Perdue of Georgia, and Bob Riley of Alabama favor the stimulus package.”

This is definitely somewhat of a litmus test of conservatism.

That would be true with Obama, but not Palin.

Waiting for the hate-brigade to explain us that Palin is actually a non-conservative ditz...

She is clearly positioning herself for national office. The questin is whether she will get re-elected in the meantime. If oil prices stay low I would expect her guberentorial re-election to be anything but a cake walk.
