I hate to speculate too but I swear, sounds like love to me. I can’t think anymore about this.

Least she didn’t try to marry or have a civil union with the animal.

Probably none that she would admit to.

That last monkey seems to be holding back the urge to vomit. He must've read the same story we just did.

These creatures can get jealous and emotional
and lack the frontal lobe override we expect in most humans.
Their non-human tendon insertions yield slightly slower angular rotation rates
at the benefit of a large fulcrum/mechanical advantage
ie. they can tear your head off at their whim.

If you read the whole story, you can see she replaced the loss of her husband and daughter with this animal. It’s really sad, even perverse as an afterthought but she didn’t know that. Hindsight is 20/20. Sad and cost her friend so much.

Exactly. Chimps have a defined social behavior, and it is not the same as humans. The sad thing about this is that the chimp was doing what chimps do.

Dogs and cats are pets. Everything else is a wild animal that you're keeping under control. After bonding with this woman, the chimp was too dangerous to keep in a residential setting, and would have been unable to adjust to any other environment. I also feel sorry for the woman who was attacked.

BTW, story from Esquire about a chimp attack. Caution. Story has a pretty disturbing photo of the guy who was attacked (in a wheel chair) and a pretty gruesome description of what the chimps did during the attack.

"Yes it is sick. Least she didn’t try to marry or have a civil union with the animal. Shaking my head again."

Playing the devils advocate here.....What is the difference between sodomite marriage and human/animal marriage? It's a civil right.

Sheesh..............So now, we have to be politically correct and non-judgemental about human/animal relationships????? Or maybe we can’t call the chimp an animal, because that implies he is inferior, so we have to give animals the same legal status as human.

Her husband died in 2004 and her only daughter was killed in a car accident several years ago.

No wonder she's completely unhinged.

Tendon insertions???

Do you mean tendon attachment locations? If I get your meaning, you are saying that a man with a baseball bat is far more deadly than a chimp with a baseball bat. Correct?
