Pat McCrory. He ran for NC Governor and lost to the brainless Bev Perdue.

Unreal! They cut away immediately and it even sounds like the news reader is trying to talk over Mayor McCrory!

Yea, That`s my mayor. He`s ok. Why not let the man have his say? The only dissent can`t be heard?

CNN along with the rest of the MSM is a branch of the DNC.

They slobber all over Present Obama and do the bidding of their handlers.

Funny, the left has told us that “dissent is patriotic” for the last eight years. Guess that isn’t so anymore!

Opposition to the Stimulus is Treason.

Didn’t you get the memo?

My first encounter with this level of media bias was when we were protesting Gore’s attempted stealing of the 2000 election.

There were a couple hundred of us, lined up along the street.
A camera crew showed up, found the TWO Gore supporters there, turned the cameras AWAY from the hundreds lined up along the street, and began interviewing them.

We swarmed the bastids and ruined their propaganda shot.

Media accounts of any event I have been at bear no resemblance to what I witnessed with my own eyes and ears. I was at the Bush/Cheney rally in Naperville IL when Bush made the “Climer” comment. The mic wasn’t even turned on, I never knew what if anything was said until I saw it on the news that evening. They must have been using their own equipment to pick up Bush and Cheney’s private comments to each other. That’s just one example....

Thanks for the link. It wasn't even subtle. The newspeaker at CNN reminded me of oppressed people in Communist regimes that have to quickly avoid any appearance that there is dissent. It was so creepy and we should be alarmed.

Thanks! I couldn’t post the State, NC, W VA, etc., because they CNN wouldn’t acknowledge who he was. Thanks again.

Good for you and the others, thanks for sharing your story.

I’ll always remember and never forgive CNN for their film crew and reporter sitting with an insurgent ( could have been al qaeda) sniper in Iraq and filming him (from his vantage point) targeting and killing a US soldier, then showing the video of the murder over and over for a week as news of the War in Iraq.

Pat McCory runs in any other year, he wins in a landslide. Perdue didn't beat him, Obama and Bush-blowback did.

FWIW, what I've seen of McCory is that he's a pretty good guy, "moderate" Republican (got to be, to get elected in Charlotte).

I know a couple of people that work for Perdue, including a guy that's one of her communications wonks. I know them both well enough to ask "Well, what do you think of her?" and expect a truthful answer. Neither one would go so far as to say "Don't vote for her"....don't want to shoot the goose that lays the golden eggs. However, neither gave her much of an endorsement. "The most politically focused person I've ever met" was one comment. If that ain't a tepid statement about a politican, I don't know what is.
