It's not even the "first of many" though. There's absolutely nothing unusual about a green comet. Did many posters take what he said too far? Yes. Was his statement highly ignorant anyway? Yes.

There's a moratorium because Sean Penn won the Oscar for "Milk". If I recall his acceptance speech correctly, he wanted to marry Uranus.

Thanks for the heads up and a big one to all on this thread. Was great to see as I usually miss these due to bad info on the web and news giving wrong dates and times. My local news completely ignored it. Much better than when I saw the Comet Kotex ( Kohoutek ) in the early 70s.
