Nice- can they throw the boy Marxist overboard as well... No question, when it comes to honest substance; Obama IS an empty suit; but it has it's own flotation capabilities. . .

I would love to see pictures of this. I’m from the Omaha/Council Bluffs area.

Have the local news stations been contacted? Perhaps the local NAACP and Ernie Chambers will show to call you all racists.

Please give us a run down afterward. Is it possible to ping me when it’s over??

Ernie can’t get there — he may get a speeding ticket. He has to actually pay them now.

Can I wear my short-sleeved sweatshirt??

We had a rally last weekend in Overland Park, Kansas. By getting it out on the blogs and getting the local conservative talk-show host to mention it, the expected turnout of 10-15 bloomed to roughly 500. I didn’t hear about the Omaha Tea Party until today. It wasn’t on any of the big National Tea Party blogs, and I hadn’t heard about it elsewhere.
Any idea on expected turnout? Have the police been notified of the demonstration? Who’s running the show? Has anyone notified the local news/papers/radio stations?

The only thing I agree with Ernie about-—

I love short-sleeved sweatshirts. Most comfortable things in the world, but hard to find

To answer your questions:

1) We could have from 25 to 250 people at this. I don’t know, plus now we have a possible weather issue.

2) Building security (which is the Sheriff office) knows we’re going to be there. If it gets large, they will call in backup from first the court security folks, and then a greater presence if we grow too big.

3) I’m the guy running the show to the best I can under short notice. I’m the Northwest Regional Coordinator for DontGo Movement/NewsPlatoon.com, as well as a member of #SGP and #TCOT

4) Press releases were sent out this morning. No responses or calls to me yet from them. I’ve asked a couple of people to send messages and call into the two local talkshows.

As to the lack of knowledge - Omaha has been planned from the start on this. However, we kept constantly getting passed over for the various lists. Now, we’re still trying to play catchup, but without a larger group really backing me up fully, I have been scrambling.

Easy. You are only a pair of scissors away.

How do we get updates on latest decisions regarding the weather, etc?

I’m planning on coming with my dad and my child.

I only heard about this on the Tom Becka radio show tonight. I had no idea that there would be any tea party activity prior to July 4.
