Holder continues his attack on 2nd Amendment

At a press conference today announcing the drug cartel arrests (in which he had little to no involvement), US AG Holder also suggested that re-instituting a U.S. ban on the sale of assault weapons would help reduce the bloodshed in Mexico, where last year 6,000 people were killed in drug-related violence.

... Holder also suggested that re-instituting a U.S. ban on the sale of assault weapons would help reduce the bloodshed in Mexico...

Unless Holder with his newly acquired, unrestricted global powers can place an blockade of Mexico to prevent the sales of weapons to Mexico's armed forces, organized drug-lords will still get their arms though the military's poorly guarded(wink, wink)armories.

They are getting fully automatic weapons and even hand grenades, which to my knowledge, WalMART does not stock.

Because, of course, there are no AKs south of Mexico in Central America and the drug cartels wouldn’t know how to move them north if there were. /SARC

And since when are US citizens’ rights subject to what is happening in another country? Oh, that’s right, since the dumbed down American public elected a bunch of One World Socialists to run (ruin) this once great nation...

""U.S. officials have a responsibility to make sure Mexican police are not fighting substantial numbers of weapons, or fighting against AK-47s or other similar kinds of weapons that have been flowing to Mexico,” Holder said."

This man is such a joke.

YOU CAN'T LEGALLY BUY AN "AK-47" HERE!!!!!

With regard to the "similar kind of weapons", is he talking about machine guns? It's about as difficult to buy one of those legally as it is to buy an AK-47 illegally.

This statement is nothing but a lame pathetic excuse to push his personal agenda. Folks, if you even remotely desire to own a firearm of the so called "assault weapon" type, buy it now. This tells us they are just looking for any dammed reason they can come up with to do it. If I were a betting man, I'd wager that we have less than a year until they go for the ban.

We can only hope there are enough pro-2nd amendment republicans, combined with just enough democrats that don't desire political suicide to stop it.

Reporters are not only whores, they are stupid whores. They don't know the difference between full-auto and semi-auto, and they don't want to know.

Banning guns in the US will help reduce bloodshed in Mexico.

Don't you know guns have supernatural powers?

Holder..this loser called us cowards. The moron hasn’t got a clue and this is just an excuse to disarm US citizens. This fool shouldn’t be in any public office much less Attorney General.

I’m pretty sure assault weapons are already illegal in Mexico, as are other firearms. That is the biggest cause of the violence plaguing our southern neighbors. The criminals are the only people with guns, which leaves innocent citizens helpless to fight back. I rather doubt it will spill over very far into Texas.

Calling us all cowards is not going to help him to peacefully disarm us. Quite the opposite.

Hey Holder. The Mexican thugs are also armed with mortars and RPGs. Did they get those from America also?

Holder is a lying punk! Those weapons are not coming from the US. They are coming from all over central and south America.

Hell...Chavez built an AK plant in Venezuela and has already said he was going to spread those weapons in Latin America to “help” the people.
