That's really nothing. If they demand your gun then you'll tell them to hold on because you have to campaign for someone? It's not a game.

What we need to do is make an example of one of these pricks and impeach them. They took an oath to uphold the Constitution, not destroy it. My vote would be Eric Holder. Remove him and dare the next guy to bring up gun control. The “Fairness Doctrine” gets radio heads all worked up, but if we give up one, we might as well rip up the whole thing.

Thank you for posting that comment.
I check the NRA website when something like this comes up, and I can only hope they, and you, are correct.

The next run will be on reloaders.

That is already underway in many state legislatures. There are bills pending that seek to "code" any new ammo made, in order to track it, and to destroy any old, unfired ammo. The one in MO would call for all unused, uncoded ammo to be destroyed by July 1, 2010.

The net effect of this would be that reloading would become illegal, because the rounds are not properly coded, for tracking.

“..What the idiots don’t get is that a gun means nothing without the ammo...”

Don’t kid yourself...they get it. They get it all too well.

They know EXACTLY what they’re trying to do.

I should have clarified......the politicians get it, the people aren’t paying attention to what’s going on.

You are correct. I am having trouble finding 9mm 115 Gr ammo!
Also, 30-06 is hard to find as well. This is getting nuts!

Funny, a year ago 200 rounds of 9mm was plenty to have in the cabinet. Now that is not enough!

And, it’s fair to assume that the criminals will comply...the current criminals; not the ones created by passage of this tripe...(sarc off)

There! Fixed it!

Henry Bowman would be so proud.

I know it’s not a game. But I’m not going to roll over and make it easy for them.

At what point do we say “enough is enough” and refuse to obey an order that violates our constitutional rights?

They’re unlikely to go door to door to seize people’s guns, at least at first. They will rely on voluntary compliance. And many of us simply will not comply.

So what are you going to do? Cave? Be a good German and report people?

No I'm going to call out posers. By the way, go to hell.

You too, sweetie. You might want to drop the affected boxed reply format, by the way, since you have a problem with posers.

A “Million Gun March”! I’ll bet we could turn out a number much closer to a million than the other marches did. I jest not. I live 1500 miles from the capitol but would take the time and spend the money to participate if one were held!

The net effect of this would be that reloading would become illegal, because the rounds are not properly coded, for tracking.

Here's what you need in hand:
A collet style bullet puller.
Some 800 grit emery paper to polish the base of the bullet.
A seating/crimp die for the round in question.
Bingo. Uncoded ammo.
Lather, rinse, repeat.

The gun haters have no use for the right to bear arms. Their goal is to ban it.
Every time person that defends the 2nd amend compromises with the gun haters it is just another nail in the coffin for the 2nd amend.

There are no common sense gun control laws. We need criminal control, not gun control.

Didn’t Canada finally give up on its registration scheme? Too expensive and too much non-compliance.
