Americans rally behind businessman fined $500 a day for posting Constitution
CLEARWATER, Fla. The fish tale in this Gulf Coast city is beginning to broil, and perhaps could be titled, "The Old Man and the Seethe."
Government officials are now accused of figuratively spitting in the face of U.S. veterans who defend the Constitution in connection with a man they've threatened to fine $500 per day for posting the First Amendment on his business atop a mural of marine life, artwork the city claims is illegal.
WND brought the plight of Herb Quintero to national attention yesterday, as the owner of a bait and tackle store has filed a federal lawsuit against Clearwater to stop officials from fining him for the sea life designs and banner quoting the Bill of Rights.

Nice touch! That fits perfect!
I was lured into this topic, and after reading just a little of it, I was hooked.
That’s been a long term trend in government, business and education.
Ha! One of the commenters mentioned in the linked article said he worked in government for 30 years and one thing he learned was to follow the money. He said someone, somewhere is benefiting from fining this man, and all we need to do is follow the money to find out what is really going on in Clearwater.
Intolerant> Write what you have posted below to the Clearwater paper, send it to the mayor, the Chamber of Commerce, talk radio shows, etc.
I did the same thing in a letter to the editor of the largest paper in Delaware about a speedtrap in a small town of Bridgeville. Within a few hours of it being published on a Friday, the town had posted new traffic signs giving motorists visible speed limits/warnings.
I cost those bastard tens of thousands of dollars in lost speedtrap fines, and I enjoy seeing those signs every time I got thru there. Those are MY signs. FU -Bridgeville. And the same for Clearwater.
Also, I think that the good people of Clearwater ought to send their mentally ill, anti-Constitution officials a lot of fish, dead, rotten, stinking fish. UPS and FEDEX deliver. So does a truck in the middle of the night.
Time to raise a stink with these PC, anal retentive liberal shits.
And it has to STOP!!!!

I know a fishy line when I read one.
See my tagline.
It sure reeled me in....
