Top aides to President Obama yesterday defended the ambitious plans laid out in the administration's proposed $3.6 trillion budget for next year, calling the spending necessary to reignite the economy and put the country on a path to sustainable growth.
Speaking on the same program, Rep. Paul D. Ryan (R-Wis.) called Obama's proposed budget "probably the biggest rewrite or transformation of our federal budget since the New Deal."
The Republicans who have vowed to oppose Obama's budget say the rush of deficit spending and targeted tax increases would further damage the nation's floundering economy. "You don't raise taxes in a recession," Ryan said.

The key word in this clause is "proposed".
This is just the money Present Potato Head wants to spend. It does not include the money House and Senate RATS want to spend.
Look for this monstrosity to swell to 4.5 trillion by the time it gets through the conference committee.

I saw an ad tonight during the 11 pm local news urging folks to contact their local representative to say thank you for voting for the stimulus. It was a slick ad, showing schoolchildren happy and enjoying life while reminding us that 11 million children will now have health insurance coverage thanks to the passage of the stimulus.
And I thought the campaigning was over!
Less than 45 Days in office..
$3.6 Trillion in spending.. $1.75 trillion of that in Deficit spending
George Bush was bashed by the Democrats for leaving $4.5 Trillion in debt over eight years in office.. 2 of them overseen by Democratic House and Senate.. and NOW in 45 Days 80% of the federal debt is called for in spending again this year?

If the Republicans got control of Congress for one day, by some miracle, they should eliminate all withholding, and make taxpayers write out a check with EVERY paycheck.

Freedoms first has recently received permission to hold our protest in Washington DC. Our protest will now be held at the lincoln Memorial Reflections Pool in front of the Lincoln memorial ,on a date that will be released on feb 12 2009.
We find this very interesting because just two weeks earlier Washington told us we could no protest in DC for at least a year and a half . But the day the spendulus bill passes we get a call from Washington inviting us with a choice of dates and locations. Folks we take this as a sign that our country if starting to realise the mistake they have made with putting Obama in office.
We will have live speakers and other entertainment for you.
WE would like to see 1 million supporters attend this protest. It is time to take our country back and make our voices heard.
Why are we protesting ?
1. To get the attention of the mainstream media.
2. To demand That Obama Provide proof that he is eligible to be president.

We are moving forward on our rally in Washington D C. We are working non stop in
preparations for this historical event to be held at the Washington Monument on Sept. 12th
and 13th of this year.
Almost a half a million people have signed up thus far. As for the time, The million man march that took place a few years age took over 2 years to organize, we are trying to push this through as fast as we can. To protest in DC you have to have a permit and have approval to use a certain piece of land.
We called ahead of filing for these things. September 12&13 were the next available days they had.
The other org resistnet.com which was putting together a march for May 30 didn’t do this so they were refused their permit now they are joining with our group. So, we are doing this the absolutely as soon we can.
As you well know, there are Monumental costs for this Monumental event.
We understand that your pockets are not as full as they were last year at this time. There
is little left after we pay our bills that enable us to survive these barren times.
You know what is coming next, The begging part for you to look solely in your hearts for
what we feel may be the most profound and important outcry for real American patriots.
The plans are bigger than you could ever imagine and to successfully pull such a large
event off, we need your presence, we need your help, we need your prayers, we need your
assistance and sadly we must humble ourselves and ask for you to dig down in those almost
empty pockets to help us have a successful rally.
We must get our money into the bank so it can begin to build with interest, so that we can
begin to order for the event as we must pay deposits on anything that we need.

A tent to store emergency water and other supplies should they be needed. A welcome tent
for you to pic up flyer’s with information of scheduled times for our speakers and
entertainment events and other important information including restaurants and areas of
interest, etc.
3. We are planning to have at least ONE THOUSAND porta potties.
4. Accounting fees and set up fees so we have full disclosure of where all donations go.
5. On hand funds to pay for those things we know we surely will forget and the need to be
able to pick them up quickly without worry of where we are going to get the money from .
6. Newspaper adds and notices about our march, and other publicity costs for this event.
7. Printing costs, signs, etc.
8. We must hire additional security other than the security provided by the park police.
We want this to be safe for you and your family .

Instead of growing the economy Obama/Reid/PelousyMousy shrunk the economy with their ideology.
that may be a fact, but it is far from the only one.
How about a 3.6 trillion dollar budget is bad for long term economic growth, no matter what rats say.
