Sometime I think it would help to bring back the Hippocratic Oath, which in its several versions and translations includes the following:

I will prescribe regimens for the good of my patients according to my ability and my judgment and never do harm to anyone.

I will not give a lethal drug to anyone if I am asked, nor will I advise such a plan; and similarly I will not give a woman a means to cause an abortion.

But I will preserve the purity of my life and my arts. ... In every house where I come I will enter only for the good of my patients, keeping myself far from all intentional ill-doing and all seduction and especially from the pleasures of love with women or with men, be they free or slaves.

There ya go. Good old Hippocrates. No nonsensical muslim business about women not showing their bodies or using alcohol gel hand sanitizer, yet it covers most of the major ethical points: first, do no harm; speficially, don't kill patients; don't kill patients' babies; and keep your pants on.

Coburn has the right idea. It’s time to start taking a stand against the monster we now have as President. Civil disobedience is a logical way to do that.

I’m not convinced Obama is the anti-christ, but if you look at some of the factors surrounding his rise to power (the massive adulation, the sycophant press, the unprecedented power grabs, etc etc) this is one hell of a preview for the real thing.

Please post your proof that the prophesy about the Anti-Christ is fulfilled in Obama. State the exact Bible references-chapter & verse-and state how you know for a fact the references are specific to Obama. Fact is, NO ONE knows who the Anti-Christ will be; not you, not me, not historians, or even “Bible scholars”, NO ONE!!!. You really need to brush up on your Bible knowlege because the Bible states “ No one knows but the Father”. Even the Son does not know...get your facts straight before you post OPINION as FACT.

Several of my pro-life, but horribly uninformed, relatives voted for Obama. I also have some conservative friends who voted for him because they shared the same skin color.

This is the kind of policy which will force these voters to see what they have done. Almost everyone what voted for Obama has someone in their family who works in the medical field. The chickens are coming home to roost.
