Sorry Bobby, nobody’s listening. The masses will always take style over substance.
From the transcript, looks like Jindal held his own against Larry King Alive. Every time the Governor gave a solid answer, King immediately switched topics.
Can we PLEASE stop calling Obama a great speaker? HE IS NOT! He makes gaffes all the time, he says, um, ah, um, ah, he lies constantly (that makes him a great propagandist, not a speaker), everything is written for him by other people, whereas Ronald Reagan wrote many of his own speeches. He even had to introduce his HHR secretary with a teleprompter!
I tend to distrust “good speakers” because they can get away with more than the average person and usually do. It’s sort of like really good looking guys...never trusted them all that much either for the same reason - they end up with a character deficit.
Oh geeze Jindal, don’t you know politics is a great big stage, and no one really cares what you say, but how you say it. Obviously, How else can you explain Obama being elected. But I never really thought Obama’s delivery was that great, more hype than greatness.
Attention Bobby Jindal: GET A CLUE! OBAMA is NOT even close to being a "great" speaker. He can read an Obamaprompter! He no longer appears in public without one because of his fumbling and stumbling of ah, uh, and duhs! Watch Obama as he speaks with his Obamaprompter please. He is petrified to each of the two screens, he is robotic and speaks like he is in a trance.
Jindal was chosen to give the response for the same reason that Steele was chosen to head RNC, sending the message to Dems: Look, we wanna be just like you!!!
Doesn’t work.
