I guess our fellow countrymen wanted to get rid of divided government....and turn all power over to “the one.” The great American experiment died on 11/4/08.

Consider the fight joined, and I will fight long and hard against the union thugs and for the secret ballot which is the bedrock of our democracy

I hope they come for my signature.

It'll be fun to give them the finger the same way Obammie the Commie gave the finger during the election.

They’ll just go after the disaffected, the young, the poor performance, the scared, the employees with the worst bosses, the uneducated, etc. in your workforce. Most of those will sign cards out of ignorance or fear. That’s all it takes.

I notice that he piled mention of the card-check bill with every other ambition in the ‘five year plan’. First, I think he’s pumping sunshine up big labor’s ass. Second, I’m not convinced that this bill will make it through congress, or that he really even wants it to. I could be wrong, but my instinct says no.

The "Employee Free Choice Act"?

Something tells me that this is one of those things with a title totally opposite of what it actually does, kind of like "Fairness Doctrine" "Right to Choose" "People's Republic"

More Obamaspeak.

“I do not view the labor movement as part of the problem. To me, and to my administration, labor unions are a big part of the solution. We need to level the playing field for workers and the unions that represent their interests — because we cannot have a strong middle class without a strong labor movement.”

I live in a right to work state and where I work they have a union. The first problem I have is they have my home address I don't have any of the elected officials address why not? They can send me their crap information and I can't send any of them a Christmas card. I think it's Bullbutter if you know what I mean.

In a hotly contested vote to get a union into or decertify one out of a right to work state work place I can guarantee that there will be stromtrouper tactics by the unions on the non union workers.

Oh please. Like “one man, one vote, one time” is the bedrock of our democracy.

This is the same apocalyptic horse pucky the “manager class” tried with FMLA.

My God, if the Senate Republicans can’t at least filibuster this piece of crap, they are worse than worthless.

And by taking this “go-ahead”, the AFL-CIO has foresaken the American way and has declared its emnity to the republic. The stain of intimidation and thuggery will be the new union label.
