WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The Obama administration on Tuesday endorsed legislation to crack down on offshore tax havens, raising the stakes in a showdown between the United States and bank-secrecy nations such as Switzerland.
The endorsement came from U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner at a congressional hearing where he was asked about the wide-ranging tax haven bills unveiled on Monday in both the Senate and the House of Representatives.

What a joke. This has nothing to do with tax evasion and everything to do with Government wanting control over every aspect of its citizens money. They have no Constitutional authority to dictate where US citizens hold their private property or money as long as they declare it. They are witch hunting without any evidence of tax evasion what so ever and expect sovereign nations to thwart their own laws to help these blood sucking vampires get lucky on a few hapless Americans. I hope Switzerland tells them to F off. The hell with symbolic tea partys, we need a real and permanent one.
The ability of the US to compel cooperation from other governments on issues such as this is dissipating with every dollar it needs to borrow from foreigners.

The Swiss need to call up their vaunted Militia. Intimidate Obama militarily. It works for the Russians.
If Obama would just crack down on tax-cheating Democrats he could reduce the deficit to nothing.
how about just cutting business tax to about 10%. Their would be no need for tax havens. Do you think?

If those people who have any money left want to keep it, they had better donate to getting democrats OUT of congress.
Europe does not do double taxation for foreign income.
Obama is driving investments outside the USA INTENTIONALLY.
