I can remember Judy Brown, in a March For Life brochure, bashing Ronald Reagan for some of his cabinet picks.

We have politically incompetent prolife leaders and we have people who know what they are doing.

If the National Right to Life Committee bashes Brownback, I will listen to them.

I will not listen to very many other people, on this issue.

Few know as much about it, as I do.

Ronald Reagan gave us Sandra Day O’Connor, Antonin Scalia and Anthony Kennedy. That’s a 1 for 3 record on the issue on that scorecard. I think he exposed himself to a fair amount of criticism on life issues through that decision and others like it.

I don’t know Judy Brown or criticisms—they may well have been intemperate—but it’s certain that Reagan left room for criticism on life issues.

Can you name a single pro-life leader who HAS supported Brownback on this?
