well, wouldn’t that be awful? No more federal mandates like on abortion, labor laws, taxation, education, medical, commerce...
That's the whole point, Washington doesn't have any money other than what it collects from taxpayers.
So the revenues they are collecting to butt into the states business should be returned to the taxpayers. The states could then increase their taxes if they felt a particular program was in the best interest of their residents.
By taking our money away and then using it to either punish or reward us they have in fact made us their subjects (slaves).
